Nice find! using the zeroes in the coordinates still puts me either in the ocean or somewhere in south America, but couldn't find a specific location. But, I'm going to bed now. And as I was typing this, Lori tweeted again.

Hmmm, it might have changed again but I'm missing one of your zeros. I get:

    0,0
    0,7
    2,8
    5,1
    10,10,10
    0,2

    or

    00-07-28-51-101010-02

Also slightly confused by the last 0,2 combo - They're in the same box, does that mean 0=2?? Also slightly strange how we have pairs except for the hand of 10s. I suspect we need to derive the magic word and our clues previously were:

Quote:

You waited
2 many HOURS

--weird "d"

and
Quote:

WHATSTHEmAGICWORDS

We clearly need more than one word which rules out simple shift/replacement codes. This could all hang on either the Hours (by Micheal Cunningham) or more likely Mrs. Dalloway by V.Woolfe (The Hours was the original title) - I'm wondering whether this is a book cipher based on parsing words/letters from chapters or pages. An online copy of Mrs Dalloway is available here:

http://ebooks.adelaide.edu.au/w/woolf/virginia/w91md/

I've had a go at taking the corresponding word from paragraph (1st para=0 so skip, 3rd=7th word), but it quickly didn't make sense and doesn't explain the blanks.

Any ideas???

Ahh. I shifted a 0 into a blank by accident-- you're right. I'll look through the links and see what I can find. I think you're onto a good idea.

There's a new image up at the wikispace that has the following mouse-over text:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Greenwich

That made me wonder

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
What if we took the numbers to be degrees, minutes, seconds in lat-long, with the usual convention reversed . . . meaning we're given long first and lat second. So that would be 00 deg 07 min 28 sec long and 51 deg 30 min 02 sec lat. That gives us a point on Southmere Lake fairly near Greenwich, England.

I'll admit it's a huge stretch for quite a few reasons, but it's a possibility.

Edit: It seems the pm feels we need to move more quickly. While I was putting this together, additional information was added to the page . . . I haven't looked at it yet, but chances are it invalidates what I said above. At the very least, I don't immediately see how to make it work with my idea.

Well, I think I know what three of the clues on iranawaytotrees.wikispaces.com are referring to . . .

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Mersenne Prime #2 would be 7, one more state would be 51, and you might be 2 late could just mean the number 2

Edit: Already mentioned below.

What was added is this...

Quote:
The Green Witch says:

_ space _ space _ _

_ _ space _ _ space _

You've been naughty = 0 "naught" as in nil, 0 ( not sure how this equals 0 )
Mersenne Prime #2 = 7
Abbott and Costello 13 x 7 = 28

One more State = 51
Tina's address = 30
Hurry, or you might be 2 late = 2

It appears to be just another confirmation of the numbers.

Code:
0 7 28
51 30 2

eta 0 for naught

Rushing so in brief: agree with Cephalopod's and all above suggestions. And re the clever rhyme that has been added to help us with the numbers. Funny "Abbott and Costello 13 x 7" =28 LINK Cyas...

Hi all,

Been lurking for a while, thought I'd jump in here.

I played around with latitude and longitude also this morning and got the same location as previously identified - Greenwich.

The 'Green Witch' message certainly would seem to confirm that.

So that makes two ARGs whose starting points are Greenwich. A popular place.

Ahaha....just a further confirmation of Cephalopod's (Welcome to uF!) solve: a connection between Greenwich time and Virginia Woolfe's novel Mrs. Dalloway which is set in Greenwich Village:
Quote:
Virginia Woolf and modernism: As the setting in Greenwich suggests, it explored the nature of time LINK

She got another text asking "who are you?" and a wiki update links to iwascharlottebronte.com again. But now I'm more confused than before.

We're not quite there yet but close.

In the upper left of iwascharlottebronte.com "Enter" is now a link that leads to this page: http://iwascharlottebronte.com/Welcome_to_the_Journey.html

It includes a poem with some interesting capitalization and a picture of, I believe, Virginia Woolf.

The top of the wiki says "Who are you?" with a link to iwascharlottebronte.com, so I tweeted back a response to the "who are you?" question as Charlotte Bronte. I dunno if it's right, but it's worth a shot.
