GoldenNova, after watching the video you get after entering the retrieval code, I'm getting the feeling that Zach's lost memories might be of time spent in "Program 127." Maybe he was one of the researchers? That might explain why he's so blase about all of this--and might also explain the shadows. If he remembers some of it, even subconsciously, it might make him less wary/afraid?

Also he sent me an email back re. his position when he was recorded the last two times by the Sentinel program--he was on the facility's grounds, so it appears that whatever monitoring devices there are, they're not moving around and don't extend beyond the facility.

Hey, guys. Maybe I'm just blind and mistook it for a desert or something, but did the artifact always have that light colored gash in it?

It's mostly on one face, but the top bit stretches off onto another. I noticed that it actually makes the edge between the faces it stretches to misshapen, unlike the other edges of it.
It's probably been like that the whole time and I didn't notice, but just in case, I thought I'd ask.

Idk... It always looked like that to me. If you see vid 2, not the blog ones but the one that was released the 10-10-10, the pyramid appears at the end and I think it is pretty much the same. Smile

I'm really curious about what kind of "emissions" this thing is tracking, actually. From the artifact, from the outside... from Zach?

Edit: Oh man. Whatever those emissions are, they apparently aren't good for our intrepid blogger! D: Hopefully he'll address what happened out there in his newest video. If not, I guess one of us will have to tell him.

Also, I'm taking screencaps of the diagnostics page so we can track what order the statuses of the gates and proximity warnings change. Don't know if that'll be useful, but I figure I might as well.

Normal over here too, also Firefox. It'll be interesting to see whether he recovers any more memories after this, or whether he loses them. I expect we might not hear from him for a day or so... that's got to be at least a little bit unsettling if he's aware of what happened.

Can't. Wait. For. Next. Blog! >.< I might send him an email just to ask if he's okay, though I know it's probably overkill since Seadevil4 already has.

Edit: If anybody's getting tired of me flinging random speculations around just tell me... but I had a thought. The Diagnostics page says that emissions have been detected, and the only thing at the facility that we KNOW of that might be emitting anything is the artifact. Maybe it's trying to make contact with Zach, and that explains the latest log?

I think emissions are from Artifact. I also think they are not hazardous in the traditional sense, but that they had affected Zach because of his own thing with these dreams. I think that when the interference was there, something else happened that we did not get to see. Maybe the shadow appeared, maybe Zach time traveled, maybe... idk, some crazy stuff lol

I am ok with speculations and hypothesis, muse. Very Happy

Something's screwy with the analysis page. Not working anymore.

I think I see one of the numbers you're talking about, Muse. It's on the side that rotates around before the gash. That could be a three, but it could also be a symbol of some kind.
I don't recall noticing it before, but I don't have the best memory for that sort of thing either.
