Whenever I read a Slenderman story or see him in one of the videos, my eyes well up with tears. I'm not sure why...

I haven't been on the Unfiction forums for weeks, nor really thought of Slender Man (aside from occasionally interacting with the lulzy facebook pages... but that doesn't really count.) He hadn't been on my mind in the least.

The other night I had a horrifically graphic Slendy-nightmare, which is a first for me. Normally I kind of giggle at those who come over and post about their dreams in detail... but now I can see why folks would be so disturbed. I was afraid of the dark again for a little while, there.

Drat you, Slendy, I was over being terrified of you! >:U

He has mainly affected me like Cthulhu affected people: I am inspired to write, to make art (I can't paint/draw/sculpt, so none of that art). I already wanted to make music (can't play, only sing, if I had Garage band on a mac though...) but now...Not to mention my own slenderseries in the works.

As well, in the late ours when explore my campus (it has some VERY LIGHTLY wooded areas, but in night time they look 20x bigger and all-encompassing) I get creeped the HEEEEELLLLLL out, swear i'm seeing what isn't there. Well...you know how it goes and have experienced it yourselves.

Me too, I've made several slendy art projects, and even secretly incorporated him into a couple of my school-related art projects.

While I'm not in college, I like to explore around my neighborhood at night, theres a pond near my house with some heavy woods where all the stoner's and drunks go to make campfires. When they aren't there it's a really creepy place, even though people live right across from the actual pond.

Theres also my old elementary school with it's old "rumors" that make the playground and swamp next to it extra creepy.

My house is situated on a steep hill that is interrupted by a forest of young trees. This occasionally makes me nervous, but mostly makes me want to slenderprank the hell out of my friends who are in the know.

I had a mini-freak out last night. Sad I was closing the door as I prepared to go to bed, but as I looked out in the darkness, this extreme feeling of fear washed over me, so I slammed the door shut and went to bed and cuddled with my dog. D:

Personally, he's become a mild obsession. The whole mythos has. I feel like he's real because we and the makers of the videos and blogs make him real. And that's enough for me to get really scared in the back of my mind.

Personally I'm not scared at all, It's my favorite fantasy thinking about Slenderman coming to my door, hopping on his shoulder and him and I flying through the forest like Tarzan.

I would read this slenderseries. Very Happy

I know it wasn't popular, but I miss Breaker. *sigh*

I've mostly just been inspired to write and draw a bunch of stuff by Slenderman. Which is awesome, because he's one more inspiration I can draw on to dig myself out of creative dry spells.

I'll admit that I get freaked out walking around the house alone in the dark, but heck, my stupid brain always finds a reason to invent a monster round the corner. Slenderman's just one of the latest. (It doesn't help that I'm currently binge-reading the SCP Foundation reports. 173 and that bloody staircase with the face actually kept me from sleeping, which is something Slenderman can't quite boast.)

last night was an interesting experience.. Mom was driving me home from the coffee shop and the moon hung in the sky like a big yellow grin. like really yellow.. and half-moon so it was a big grin. There was also a bit of fog here and there, but the closer we got to home, the more fog there was.. I was expecting to end up in Silent Hill with SlenderMan and Bubblehead Nurses. D:

Pretty much the music videos, Du Hast, Ich Will, and Haifisch from Rammstein are ruined. Because their bassist is tall, bald, skinny, and is in a freakin' suit D:

And this last one freaks me out because for some reason the screencap came out blurry and blurred all of their faces. Shocked

Almost a year I've been aware of Slender Man's existence.

I only just had a nightmare a few nights ago. It was also my first ever experience of sleep paralysis.

Now that I write it here, it also played out very much like the beginning of the Entry #27.

I had gone to bed late, which was bad, because I had to be up early to be at work by 5am. No matter -- I figured I'd just get as much shut-eye as I could. After some tossing and turning, I finally fell asleep.

The next thing I knew, my phone/alarm was going off. I'm exhausted still, but I open my eyes to get ready and try and force myself to get up. Once opened, I notice my computer on the floor sitting a little lower than eye level (I sleep close to the floor). Strange, because I left my computer charging in another room. My browser is opened to youtube, which has a blinking/static-y reel of Masky looking at me. Meanwhile, my alarm is still going, without stopping like it usually would by now. All I want is for it to stop. I try to turn it off myself, only to discover that I am completely paralyzed. My arms are heavier than they have ever felt and despite multiple attempts to force them to move, they simply sit there. At this point, my attention's been turned to my bedroom door, which is slightly ajar.

I should mention -- at no point does Mr. Thin Himself appear in my dream. But Christ -- I could have sworn He was waiting for me, just behind the door....

Then I woke up. My alarm had not been going off -- I still had another hour and a half of sleep left.

The second night after learning of him/binging on Slenderblogs and such, I had to sleep with the light on. Now I just have to mentally talk myself down before I go to sleep- if I've been reading/watching Slenderman stuff before bed, I try to watch or look at funny things to get my mind off it.

It's not helpful that I have a series of hooks on my closet door on which I hang my sweaters and jackets. Most of these are black, save for one white one, and in the dark it pretty much looks like Slenderman is standing at the end of my bed. Shocked In addition to that, my bedroom window looks out into my back yard, in which is a big ol' tree that casts a very Slenderific silhouette against my blinds.

Oh! And it somewhat inspired me to draw the first real humanoid picture I've done since probably 2008, so yay!

I recently began working on setting up a long term Slender Man blog project with some friends. Around the time we began preparations, I came down with a cold. Said cold has gotten worse as we worked more on the project, and now I'm getting a bloody nose at random times, bursting into crippling fits of coughing, and can barely talk above a whisper. Slendersickness, anyone?
(Though on the bright side, if I haven't gotten better when we start doing video work, I will have the most authentic on screen Slendersickness in all the stories ever!)
