Why not - and if you have a friend wants a ticket, I've got a spare.

I'm going to the Cherry Hill NJ one, and gonna wear the Flynn Lives pins just in case there's swag for such things. Hoping there are costumed folks too.

so who all is going to the LA Citywalk showing?

JUST GOT THIS IN AN EMAIL UPDATE!!!

Quote:
You are about to experience the explosion of technology and imagination at TRON Night, an action-packed IMAX 3D experience. TRON Night will be your first opportunity to step onto the Grid and witness the cutting-edge, 3D world of Walt Disney Pictures' high-tech saga "TRON: Legacy." This is an exclusive event, featuring a 20-plus-minute sneak peek of the highly anticipated film, arriving in theaters December 17th, 2010.

As a special bonus, just for attendees of the Universal CityWalk IMAX Theatre screening, creator of the original TRON film and producer of "TRON: Legacy", Steven Lisberger will be on hand to answer your TRON questions. In addition, we will be handing out TRON Night commemorative posters, and giving away special TRON collectables.

Please remember to bring your printed ticket, a valid photo ID, and your sense of adventure. Plan to arrive one hour prior to showtime – your selected theater location and showtime are printed on your ticket. If you arrive late, your ticket may be given away to guests waiting in the standby line. Your ticket will admit you plus one additional person.

Although tickets are sold out, a standby line will form at each location to fill empty seats. This seating is not guaranteed and will be awarded to ticket-holders first.

For further questions, please visit the TronNight 2010 FAQ page This will be an unforgettable ride – glad to have you aboard.

*Is very jealous*...although I could see them handing out posters at all the showings, I doubt they will give away "special tron collectibles" at all the showings, although they could. it would be easy and probably rather cheap to mail a box of posters...depending on the collectibles it might not be. Can't wait until tomorrow either way! Very Happy

Given how little the peeps at the theater know about the event, in general... I'd say there isn't going to be a lot of extra effort at any of the outlying venues.

I wish I'd have been greedier and taken a ticket when I could, since my 'Bama trip ended earlier than I thought.
Anybody got a spare ticket for El Dorado Hills?

(I feel like I've had so much spoiled in this film, that this showing won't add too much more spoilage.)

Hey guys long time lurker, but I've decided to come out of hiding and register for an account!
I'll be at the Irvine, CA screening and my email says that screenwriters Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz will be there. Pretty cool since they've worked on Lost too.

Wow, that is not cool that only the California screenings are getting the posters and stuff. I emailed support about my specific theatre becausein the update I got, it didn't say anything about "special added" bonuses...
