Its a zero, not "o" the the 50. I just compared the the words "Otherwise" and "Ok" on the printout to latest message. Definitely not the same character.

Fog Horn - Ray Bradbury

I did a search for "fog horn" and it's the title of a Ray Bradbury story, "The Fog Horn" about a sea monster that returns every year (read the Plot Summary). Another similarity to the new STIES line is the title changes it incurred, sounding like the "unexpected title" (read the Background).

What do you guys think? Btw I love Bradbury. I hope he's involved somehow.

Ray Bradbury wrote the screenplay for the 1956 Moby Dick movie

The unexpected title

Is it possible that the unexpected title could be Josh Minkers Moby Dick? If Bradbury did write the screen play and the Foglight what do they have to do with anything other than visiting fish people?

I'm starting to think that all of this is completely unrelated to the movie and this is a complete red herring.

In the 50's Ray Bradbury wrote a short story called "The Fog Horn". The story is about a sea monster drawn to the sound of a lighthouse's fog horn because of the lonely sound it makes. The reason I thought of it was the sea monster is probably the last of it's kind and probably millions of years old, an ancient sea creature, ring any bells? It's probably nothing but to me this seems like a possible connection to the coelacanth.

Yeah, I really love Bradbury to, I can't find any connection between him and Spielberg or Abrams though...

Looking at the sentence "Meet me at 4D & 5O's last leg. Bring the foghorn and the unexpected title" got me to thinking about the following:

4D: possibly 40; room 40 was the British government's military decoding center in WWII.
D in latin is 500; could 4D be 4 X 500 = 2,000; or 2000, or 20:00 = 8:00 p.m.
Four is a homophone for "for" and if you add a "d" you have "ford."

50: possibly "fifth tee," indicating a golf course; 50 in latin is "L"

foghorn: if all others are in code (or at least written in a manner that Josh can understand), it would stand to reason that "foghorn" is also in code. If "foghorn" represents the item contained within the case depicted in the craigslist's photos perhaps that plays into the braegen audio clues (and possibly others we are, or have not been, made aware of. (Recall the altered trumpet (?) in the movie "Eagle Eye.")

"The unexpected title" is intriguing for what it may, or may not, represent. Perhaps it's a title to property left to Josh as part of an inheritance—a vehicle, boat, land (with or without a house on it) and that could take us in many fascinating directions!

One thing seems to be certain, since Mysterio had no problem locating Josh (and Josh hasn't disputed that—to our knowledge), we could infer that Mysterio would have no problem being aware of "when" Josh shows up at the location. The term "4D & 5O's last leg" may be a colloquialism that Josh (wherever he lives) would be aware of, but obscure enough that non-locals would be puzzled, which if it is, shows some pretty decent recon on the part of Mysterio.

4D 5O

Wondering if there is a way to tie 4D & 5O into the calendars Josh has been posting. Like 4 Dec & 5 Oct - maybe some cross referece with the times or something?

good analysis, maybe the moons have something to do with it. Maybe when he says "meet me at 4D and 5O's last leg" last leg means last hours of the night.

Well, it must be a time and location in that cryptic sentence that both Josh and Mysterioso are familiar with in their local world.. wherever that is..
Does'nt seem like they want us to find it.. We'll have to wait and see if Josh even shows up.. No reply to the message as well as not a peep from him in over 5 weeks now..
Unless he has totally stopped posting publicly..
Strange...

Not sure is this has any meaning whatsoever, but this is a map of "4D & 5O," obviously in Australia.

I know we had some posters from down under--can you make any sense out of this and the latest printout statement?

I put 4D and 5O into google maps and got a place very close to where I live.

Yankeetown, Florida is where it brought me to. Interesting thing is, it shows a "Waccasassa Fishing Club" on the map. Maybe it's got to do with Josh and his love of fish?

Uuuugh. I hate all this speculation! Laughing
