[OOG] Anyone from the Philly area?

I was just wonder if anyone here is from the Philadelphia area.
From my experience, no one in that freakin' city seems to know anything about SUPER 8.....
It's quite annoying

You make a good point. I guess my expectations are a little too high, I'm a film maker and I attend film school, so I just assumed film students might actual follow what's going on in the profession.

I am from the Philly Suburbs. I don't know anyone who has heard about Super 8. I don't even know anyone who finds ARGs, or viral marketing stuff fun.

I guess I should rephrase myself, I'm not directly from or in Philadelphia, I live in the suburbs about 40 minutes outside of Philadelphia, in a place called Warminster.

By the way, I have the same problem, no one I know even knows what the term ARG means, let alone knowing enough about them to say they're fun or not.

Oh Ok. My mom lives in Warminster, or Warwick, or Warrington. I don't know the differecece. I live in Lansdale. The same thing happened with Cloverfield. I went to the first showing opening day (I think it was 9am) at the Regal in Warrington and there was a good amount of people there. Some of them had to follow the ARG.
