8. Include creepypasta tie ins if possible. Since slenderman is apart of a creepypasta why not include other creepypasta stories/ monsters to get involved (No jeff the killer -_-)

Just wondering, why should Jeff the Killer not be used?

I'm pretty sure he was being hyperbolic, but you should really tread that with caution. The core Jeff stories aren't very good, & the fandom treats the character more like a Draco In Leather Pants than an actual threat. Inclusion of Jeff is a really easy way to assassinate credibility, if you're not careful.

Not everyone will be scared by your series; so try to focus on a good story, scares come second. So many mindless horror entertainment (Slendy and non-slendy) have been made that are SUPPOSED to be scary but aren't because their stories are crap.

I'm sick of all these gits basing their series after that god-awful misinformative vidya game. At least try to make something creative.
EDIT: Sorta meant both directly and info-wise, in case anybody misunderstood.

I'd kind of like to see a series set in a more rural location - particularly from you American creators Smile It's not something we usually see in American TV (or at least, not over here in Australia)

You aren't looking hard enough if you haven't heard of Mountain Monsters or Call of the Wildman. Redneck paranormal is the new cool on Discovery/Travel channel.

Lol how is Call of the Wildman a paranormal show? I love it, but he pretty much just grabs animals out of sheds/ponds/attics/whatever with his bare hands. No ghosts or anything there.

What I want to see?
Slender Man get defeated. His invincibility has made him boring, and when stories keep ending the same say then it gets tiresome. So I want to see one where the hero wins.

I know. It would be a VERY unexpected turn for a series based on a creepypasta.

But how would you defeat him and not make it corny?

Maybe it could be more of a partial victory for the protagonist. Basically "I can't kill this thing, but I can keep it away from me and mine; that's enough for me."

And to avoid a double post:

I have some half-formed ideas. I don't have a camera, so anything I did would be in blog form. But I wonder, since they'd be straight narratives rather than ARG's, does it really need to be a blog at all? Would people be interested in other story telling devices, and if so, which ones?

I'd love a new blog. The Mythos Project recently ended, Tale of Tales is now a vlog, and all the others I was following have vanished. If you do make a blog, I'd follow it.
And regarding other storytelling devices... I can't think of any, besides a book?

If you were to kill Slendy in any way possible, do it with fire. I personally think that's the best way.

So far TT and CNS seem to have elements that at least hinder the Slender Man.

I want to see a kid do a Slendy series with their parents. I mean, even in good kid-made slender series like TheHLFilms I'm still wondering "WHERE ARE THE KIDS PARENTS THEIR KIDS ARE IN MORTAL DANGER?!?!"

Then again, it must be hard for a kid to get their parents to act or even get interested in what they're doing.

Kid: Look mommy I'm doing a slendy series Very Happy
Mom: Oh, that's nice (continues flipping through weight-loss magazine)

Sometimes, in the series the parents are mentioned, but they don't care what's going on with the child and/or don't believe it.

Does anyone know of a kid/teenager made Slenderman series with parents or at least adults in it?
