Oh. Well, it seems like it is a dead end for now.

Same for me.
How did you get from foghorn to toadfish then?
The toadfish makes a "foghorn" sound - from the photo slider on HLM. At least we know the two sites are linked directly, though. Maybe we now need to solve the 5O & 4D bit.

Good work parmav!
Could "5O & 4D" be another virtual desktop?

Well that was simple enough...
The message during authentication says "IP address not recognized" and switches to "read only" mode. So I guess that's their way of making it seem like we aren't allowed to speak, but can see others using the chat system.
Firebug is showing that the chat log is fed via XML:
http://www.scariestthingieversaw.com/log.php
...but there's nothing there yet.
It retrieves from the above link every few seconds, so I'm guessing that ultimately it will be a progressively updating "live" chat.

corrected Sorry I meant '4D & 5O'. I still reckon it refers to the lunar calendar, 4 down and 5 over. So 28th October and last leg meaning between 5:06 and 5:51 pm.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hayes_command_set
ATZ = Reset
ATDT = Dial touch tone
God, as if I didn't feel old before ...
ETA: The Hayes command set didn't exist prior to 1976-1977.

If it is correct the time zone may not matter because you could use the time and date in the bottom right of the RemoteView window (maybe?)

Yes, it's the time of your own location.
