I don't know. The connect the don't doesn't feel quite right. At least not yet.

For instance, is it significant the direction they face? What if you made a square which includes one of the other guards? And as pointed out, why are they all from V1?

I think that it is safe to say at this point that only these four will be sent out. By this point with the postcards, we had all of them and were busy trying to decipher the obvious puzzle. This may not even be a puzzle, honestly, but it kills time nicely.

Edit: the guard on the pin faces to the right. The one in your triangle faces left.

Opps your right .. that guard is faceing the wrong direction .. and there are two that face the right direction (a single and a pair) .. hmm and i never connected the guard because he does not have a game number.. but lets connect the guards...

Guard one

Guard two

There are offically only 4 pins .. but why these there is some reason

Shape...

Since shapes are being looked at, one of the new posts on flynnlives.com struck me as possibly being relevant - it's post http://www.flynnlives.com/discussionforums/post.aspx?id=53 response 7 regarding "gerrymandering".

Gerrymandering is defined as: "... a form of boundary delimitation (redistricting) in which electoral district or constituency boundaries are deliberately modified for electoral purposes, thereby producing a contorted or unusual shape. The resulting district is known as a gerrymander; however, that word can also refer to the process." (from Wikipedia).

The post also states "That machine can dice 40 onions in 10 seconds!" which has nothing to do with gerrymandering, but perhaps it's a clue and relevant to this?

It's interesting that the area you outlined in green includes the Recognizers, Discs Of Tron, and the Tank (I'd dig a pin with a tank on it!)... not sure if there's anything in any of that..

So this is weird, I was bored at work and decided to reset my score on arcade aid and do it again for kicks off of memory. It gave me all of the achievements/badges all over again.

So now I have two of every one for arcade aid. I figured it would just let me play, but I just checked my FL account and there they were... again.... I wonder if that means they got a notice of me passing it (again) and are going to send me another set of pins. That was NOT my original intention, but we'll see!

EDIT... now it's back to normal! StRaNgE!!

Crazy thought- instead of being something IN the area delineated by the pins, what if the important things are those that are ON the lines? This includes the guy in the balloon, the disc thrower, etc...
