Just posted this over in the actual poster thread, but I checked my FB wall and I posted a manual status (since my Flynn Lives notification thingy didn't do it) that I finished v.2 at 3:37 PM EST on October 22nd.

Oh nice! That only an hour or two away from me! Plus you both get to enjoy the 1984 arcade huh? Very nice.

Ok my pins and poster both arrived today. I was #174 for the poster, and I got the guard and punchout pins.

I really wanted the lightcycle though, but glad I didn't get the faceoff one anyway Smile

If anyone does want to trade a lightcycle for the guard or punchout (Shoot, I'd trade both for the lightcycle one), let me know Smile

Also, ringing in. G/F wrote to say she got #42, so I'll be eager to see what I have when I got home (I finished before her). Plus, for all you H2G2 fans (like me)...I may have to trade. 42!!! Only 8 or a cool power of 2 would be better. Smile

Nice number to get Smile

Just trying to work out whether I'm going to be in the top 999? I completed the challenging stage at 1:16 pm (PST) Fri Oct 22, 2010.

thebruce, renderinfo, sirpoins, FSURobbie - have you chaps received a poster?

Just spoke to my wife, I got a poster. I will post the number and what pins I got when I get home and open them, but she told me I did get a tube in the mail today so apparently I made the cut!

Oh, superfluous!! Congratulations! Here's hoping you weren't #999!! Very Happy

Nothing received in the UK so far (as far as I know)...

I wonder who the lucky guy/gal was that got #1...? Shocked

I think Phylos from here at uF got #1 of the identity discs given out at the SDCC scavenger hunt this year...Always nice to have #1, but in this case I'm just happy I got a poster period! Hope you get one soon too!

I did get the #1 SDCC Identity disc. Poster wise, I got #55 and my Fiance received #132. My father completed AAv.2 before my fiance, but hasn't received either pins or poster...

If folks start wrangling to match numbers on the disk and 2 posters, this thread's gonna go boom!

Hmm, the lightcycles in the poster look like they're "gerrymandering" -- dividing up the area near the 4 pins.

Or maybe gerrymandering just generally refers how the black (tron) section looks like it's spreading to take over the city -- someone described something like that earlier, relating it to CLU taking over things -- maybe both the video games and the city in the map.

Is there some significance to the number 999 that I am missing out on? I say this because the one badge for the Recognizer game says 999 after clicking on 999 recognizers.

I believe that the whole "999" theme is due to arcade games at that time crashing out after reaching a certain level. I think Pac-man had a problem after level 255...

Poster #131 here, I haven't kept up so didn't even know about it. I got my pins last week (punch out & light cycle), and thought that was the end of it. It was a great suprise! When I got home, I saw the box and thought, "Oh, they sent me a movie poster. How nice of them..". Then I opened it and saw the picture. Yeah, I did SQUUEEE! a bit.

This is getting framed & going up in my office at work. They already know I'm into games and it will be a good conversation starter.

I got my poster today #282 I finished around 10PM EDT the day the puzzle went live.

I'm on the east coast (MD) and got my pins last Friday.

Couldn't have finished without the forums - thanks to all who contributed. And thanks to Disney and 42E for a great ARG
Hmmmm, that's weird. I too got my pins last Friday and I'm in MD, Silver Spring to be exact and no poster for me. Though, the mailman did come late today, maybe that had something to do with it?

I'm in Silver Spring, as well. I received my pins on Saturday (lightbike/guard) and didn't receive my poster yesterday either. I am thinking I am in the 95 to 110 completion group (completed at 1:35 PST on 10/22).

Well it's "Tron Tuesday", what's up?

Let's answer a few questions:

Is there more to the Arcade Aid game or are we just reading into things like "have you scoured the streets for every clue?" and "right, right, right" ?

If there is something more to be solved, are we on the right track with the "4 pins make an arrow pointing to the boat" theory did we miss something?

Should the "89" and "Space Paranoids" pin placement also be included in attempting to solve?

Are the missing numbers A-725 and B-725 on the towers in the poster significant?
