Word missing?

Likewise, not saying this is most definitely a puzzle needing to be solved, it's just ... very curious ... is all. Confused

Yeah, I can understand why it's giving everyone pause...

On the plus side, at least we are pretty sure that all versions are the same and that we don't need to combine several together for something.

I am disappointed with all of the people here giving up on this potential puzzle. Could one of those 300 people that have received the poster please put up a good picture of the poster so those of us who do not have one could use it to look for differences.

Zack already hinted that it was not over and knowing Disney it most certainly is not over

Thing is that everything up to now has been OBVIOUS puzzles. You knew for a fact that something was there, and it was up to you to find it.

Here... Not so much. There's no concrete indication that there's a next step yet. There's no reason to believe the poster leads anywhere.

QFT.

The idea that this game is suddenly going to start cranking out complex and obscure puzzles, starting with a prize, strikes me as a little out there...

Here here....I am find searching for a trail, but only if I think there is a trail. I don't think there is --- and they will also prompt us if something we have already can be useful.

Think about this from a marketing perspective. Why would you only want to include 999 people in a campaign - if you could have it include thousands?

Well, technically, this is contrary to the general thinking behind ARGs... the focus is on providing a compelling experience for the few, recognizing that there are many more who are less involved - the reverse pyramid of social effectiveness. But again, generally speaking. Marketers are about numbers - ARGs are about compelling experiences that may or may not appeal to numbers.

But nonetheless, of course all things being equal, the more numbers the better Smile

Quite true.

Also true.
I'd just like my curiosity sated with a reasonable explanation (confirmed if possible) for the strange minor differences between the posters and the actual game grid Smile not saying it's a puzzle or lead or anything.

* thebruce * impatiently awaits his delivery(ies)....

Depends on when they mailed the packages, but yeah US->CAN delivery is a pain... I wouldn't blame Canada Post though. Razz Like I said earlier, I got a bubble-packed medium letter-sized mail sent from SW Ontario to California in 4 days with standard ground shipping. Who knows what the hold up is... but in my experience, it's primarily US mailed to Canada that takes eons...

Your posters are probably clearing customs in Anchorage. Wink

hope im not being too straightforward when i say that this would be the lamest end to the game i could think of...very anti climactic. i think they have something big in store for us still, not just "oh hey sorry we had to cut it short, but here are these posters and pins."

i just checked, and i believe that the TDK ARG went until about 2 weeks before the release date.

Lame?! Sweet posters and pins, and it's Lame? What do you expect them to send out?

I don't think he meant it that way...A lot of folks just seem worried that AA2 was the end of the ARG and are frustrated that they might not get a better conclusion. I'm not one of those folks, but there is a lot of concern that this was our last game.

With WhySoSerious? the game actually transitioned right into the film, almost picking up where the other left off and made it feel like a wonderful whole. I remember looking at other folks in the theater thinking there was no way they were enjoying the film as much as I was because they didn't know all the back story that I did, let alone the fact that I was one of the Citizens for Batman.

I think a lot of us are just hoping we get a similar wrap-up where everything comes together nicely and leads into the film we are all dying to see. For what it's worth, I totally expect that to happen... Wink

That's right! I remember getting a phone call and it was news report of the bank robbery from the beginning of TDK. Maybe we'll get phone calls from Clu or something like that. I don't know, but "End Game" can mean anything. Of course it means that the game is drawing to a close, but it doesn't necessarily mean that the game has ended. We still have to find Flynn, even though out of game, we know were he is. This part of the game, Arcade Aid, is over. That's why we got pins and the commemorative posters.

Hey y'all... I started a new thread because they updated flynnlives.com, with a image of buildings that don't exist on the Challenging Stage v.2.. people with posters please check again against the image on the front page of Flynn Lives.

Also, see the other thread for links to new discussion threads/comments on flynnlives.com too... (or just go to them, you know where they are..)
