Having Totheark come clean all of a sudden would be anticlimactic, for sure, which is why I'd said that they'd really have to lead into it somehow. More likely he's just going to continue being an asshole and leading his two puppet-people around on internet-strings.

I'd be surprised if Jay hasn't found Alex. It's been six months in game; to suggest that he hasn't made any progress yet but come back to show more videos would be really strange. There has to be some explanation of why he hasn't found him, or some kind of Alex reaching out to him because Jay hasn't found him to validate their not having gotten into contact with one another, some how.

Otherwise we're going to have Jay (or just TTA?!) with an Alex that's disappeared for good, but they've kind of used that as a premise already, y'know?

I miss MarbleHornets. EverymanHYBRID is so fast paced that if you leave for like, a week or two, you come back and it's impossible to find out what's going on

I don't feel like there are two x's. It looks to me like there is just some weird reflection going on. If you look at the tape, that also looks doubled. Even the text is a little blurred in seemingly the same way. Perhaps its being seen through water? I can't imagine what would distort an image in that way, but it is undeniably distorted and it isn't in a constant way (the x and the tape are doubled but the text is only a little stretched out). Water would also satisfy a lot of people's pet theories...
