Couldn't have said it any better. This should be the description used on the Wiki page.

This did not hit me until the very end of 26. I literally threw myself away from my computer, almost toppling over my chair, myself, and my computer desk in my frantic effort to get the fuck away from that thing. I'm still scared every time I open my bedroom door, because it opens up to look directly down a damn hallway.

Noticed them a while ago, but just now posting. XD

Man, I hadn't realized just how much I missed Marble Hornets (and you guys!) until those twitpics came up. Then I squealed and was like "YES YES FINALLY I GET TO GO BACK TO NOT SLEEPING AT NIGHT AND TALKING TO FOLKS AT UNFICTION! Very Happy" This is awesome. Like super awesome.

Eeeeeeeee. Very Happy

I remember a while ago we all were in an AIM chatroom for Entry #23 and brickshitting happened. I remember the thread from Entry 18 too..oh the terrifying-ness. Masky was a surprise, and science says that 99.41% of viewers could build a house with the bricks that came out of them.

At the speed of lightning.

one of my favorite things ever:when a new entry comes out, and everyone is (inevitably) on here just as its released, and then everyone more or less watches it at the same time and responds, and the first 10+ pages of a thread are created. i can't wait for the next entry lol the togetherness of being able to discuss this awesomeness with people as it happens is awesome. unfortunately, most of my friends refuse to watch it because entry 1 creeped them out.

Seriously? Entry 1 isn't even that scary. I remember I was pretty sure Slendy was just some dude outside of his house at that point (but that was before I knew about Slenderman period.)

I blogged about it for a class and posted the Intro. No one thought it seemed that scary so I wound up posting Entry 19 just to prove that it was in fact scary.

I found the first entry from the 'Know Your Meme' website, so I had an inkling of who the Operator was from the get-go. That little head-tilt was fabulous; whoever does the body-acting for the Operator has done a really good job throughout the series. They do that head-tilt at such a wonderfully creepy angle!

Glad to see other old faces popping back up again! I missed you guys!

Spaekle condenses the entire series so succinctly. Awesome, bro!

This thread feels like the first day back after summer vacation.

Super-geeked. This should be fun.

For everybody who has been wanting to rewatch Season 1 before November 23, here's a playlist I have been keeping up-to-date, with all of the Entries and all of the TTA videos in the order in which they came out.

I found Marble Hornets around October '09, just before Entry 16 came out. I didn't know anything about Slenderman back then, but he reminded me so much of Men in Black which had always creeped the hell out of me, so Marble Hornets had that effect on me from Entry 1. There was something about the faceless business-suit-man, the darkness, the distortion, and the enigma of it all that induced absolute terror in me. And of course, Slendy's head-cock move was pretty creepy Razz

Slendy's always scared me way more than Masky ever did. It could have something to do with the fact that I've always been partial to the idea that Masky is benevolent.
