I don't think that's the case, either. If Masky is TTA then he found Alex during the seven month absence(although Alex then kept Tim from following him but why even come back if he knew this would happen?) and if TTA is someone else working for Slenderman, Slendy found Alex on his last birthday. Why do they need Jay anymore?

Which could also mean that when Jay learned about this from the footage for the next entry, he was so shocked by it that he became ill, or that Slendy is trying to get to Jay because of the footage.
Regardless, the next entry's going to be pretty interesting.
(I'm not the best at explaining things either, don't worry.)

That could be very true, but don't you think TiMasky would have thought about that first?
I mean, the camera was something that was always there, and something that nobody ever thought was anything more then a camera.

I was reading through the MH twitter when this one struck me

Not as far as I know, but he could have had savings. I think considering that is looking too far into it. There's nothing signifigant, it's just a "wtf how?" sort of thing.

Aside from the hotels and video equipment, Jay doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would lead a very...expensive lifestyle. Buying nothing but Ramen noodles could really save some bucks Razz

But I've wondered that too. Also about his parents. And his social life. The only time post-filming he's ever mentioned it is when he says "a friend" gave him a tip to where Brian lived.

Theory: his parents are wealthy and either gave him money or left him a nice inheritance which he spent on nothing but apartment expenses, video equipment, cheap groceries, gas, and hotel hopping.
