also worth mentioning that in entry 26 before amy is seen that little clip shows alex walking through an alley or something, but someone is filming him. considering this is sent to him present day, it makes me think of this: remember in entry 22 how jay finds the tape from the red tower? he figured out to go there from a piece of paper alex scribbled on in brians house. is it possible that this wasn't intended for jay to find, but tim?

So, it's looking more and more like Brian and Tim were working together (a little like present day Alex and jay anyone?) Anyway, the masks started as a way to hide form the Operator, but Tim fell into insanity (hence the change in theme of the TTA videos) and Brian took over, Tim had become too violent for Brian to deal with, though, so he had to stay back, just making the videos.

Also: It could have been Jessica (as the new masky) but I'm guessing we won't know how she fits in until the very end.

Also Also: it could turn out to have been Alex as TTA, but this is seeming more and more unlikely.

i feel like we can't make accurate theories without troy/joe telling us what ideas we saw in season 1 that were scrapped for the series in it's entirety

sadly nobody came to the live stream (except one guy) so i ended it at season 1

however i did pick up on two things:

1) entry 15, interview with tim. when jay mentions the operator tim gets way more fidgety and even tells jay he has to leave right after. i think the positioning of the camera was supposed to give away a hint that we were supposed to use tims hands as clues. idk how i never picked up on that. shows that tim knew about the operator before jay mentioned him

2) when jay finds the dried up blood in the sink of the house, theres a trail leading back to a pill bottle. leading me to believe that the blood is tims and that he was coughing it up until he got to his pills.

I think what we really need to look at is the TTA videos. Try and solve everything we possibly can. Troy stated very clearly in the radio interview, that if somethings feel like they can't be solved, then they probably can't for a reason.

Besides that, we need to go over them and get everything we can.

When TTA said "messages everywhere" he also could have been referring to Jay not looking closely at the videos like we are.

However, the lying messages I believe are directed at the audience. Someone needs to ask Jay on twitter if he would keep anything from us.

Am I alone in thinking a season 3 is logical? The first season was exposition. It was about what happened to Alex and the rest of the MH crew. This season is the meat and potatoes of the story and what happened during the 7 months. Season 3 aka final season is the wrap up. Think of it in terms of how the classic SW trilogy went and it makes sense with the way they are writing it. Season 2 is a lot like Empire. Everything goes to hell. Also you figure we have about 10 episodes left of this season and we are still at the beginning of the 7 month gap. Unless nothing worthwhile happens and they all just chill out for a few months sipping macchiatos then we have a lot of ground to cover to make this worth it. I wouldn't go further than a third season, but this doesn't feel like we are leading toward an end, it feels like we are watching the middle.

hopefully season 2 just goes all year round every 1-1.5 weeks a new entry

i can't take another 7 month break, i really can't

I seriously couldn't agree more. With the sudden barrage of more and more tapes (the locker full of tapes from #33, the external HD that was just rementioned like a week ago) it seems all the more likely that things as a whole aren't going to wrap up just yet. Who knows, maybe Troy will surprise us.

To be honest though you guys, let's not get our hopes up too high. I mean Jay HAD said somewhere that this would be the final season, correct?

he never confirmed that, people just misunderstood his words.

keep in mind that not every tape has something on it. one of the entries in season one was compromised of footage from multiple tapes

although personally i think that this set of tapes is just footage that they've been filming (jay and alex) since they left the old town back in entry 26/27.



also remember this (i might have posted it in this thread already): when tim doesn't take his meds he starts to bleed from the mouth profusely. is it possible the blood in the tunnel from entry 29 is actually tims?

I don't believe that there will be a third season, nor do I think there should be.

Unless they continue it with say, something like a 'Jessica's Story' where it shows entries she made (making her a literal Hero of Another Story), I think they'd just be dragging it out.

Troy has said they're slowly but surely making their way to the end, and I believe that with everything that's been going on (getting closer to what The Operator wants, who is TTA, who was Masky), it's all coming to a perfect head.
