Given how ridiculously long it apparently took J to reach his car between 40 and 42, I could still easily see Hoody being J. Why he would need to run back out of the woods in 42, though, is beyond me. It's not like Alex wouldn't believe that he made it out before he got there.

It's technically possible, at least. It was my first interpretation of 41, actually, until 42 came out and made it seem unlikely.

I don't think it's true though. Hoody is probably someone else.

Yeah, that indistinct blur was definitely Hoody. No chance of it being anyone else. I'd recognize that blurry, shadowed face anywhere. Definitely explains why everyone thought it was the Operator, too, what with Hoody looking identical and all.

What sense does it make for it to be anyone else but the character that was shown two videos later, in a very similar fashion?

Unless you still think it was the Operator there, in case of which I have nothing to tell you anymore.

Of COURSE it was The Operator in #39. He's mastered the art of holding a video camera, editing the footage and uploading it to youtube.

That really makes me think, is every new Entry a blessing or a curse? Yes we are closer to unraveling the plot but we are also getting closer to the End of MH as we know it. What will happen to all of us avid fans?
