Tron Night footage. My appologies first up if this is posted elsewhere.
I had a look but I'm not at my pc, so I'm sorry if I simply missed it...
The end of scene #52 has been put on YouTube & I thought those that couldn't attend Tron Night would enjoy it, & of course those of us that did see it would enjoy seeing it again

Any idea when/where they'll release footage/pics from other locations? In San Fransisco, where Kosinski was, they had a photographer taking pictures all over the place. Was hoping to be able to see the pictures from our location and others...

Plus, you can actually pull off the blue Tron hoodie. I have it, but I pretty much only wear the Sark one out. That blue, I just can't do it.

Tron Night was amazing. I loved all the scenes that they showed. Quorra is amazing. I loved the style they gave her. Those eyes and gigles are too adorable

It's weird how in the footage...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
she's turning the steering wheel like crazy but the lightrunner just keeps going straight XD
I was a bit worried about the acting at first, but just like the comic con 2010 trailer it's grown on me.

i was just thinking that when that scene was playing. with all those motions, the vehicle itself in completely in line with the course towards the safehau5.

Hmmm... I'm starting to hear a LOT of bad reviews about the footage shown at Tron Night...
Blurry 3D, bad acting (well, Sam Flynn's actor, anyway), cheesy dialogue...
Anyone want to denounce these findings?

I'll denounce it
I think blurry 3D must be issues with the particular cinemas the reports are coming from. There were no such issues at ours. Everyone commented on how stunning the 3D was!
I don't mind Garrett Hedlund's acting. I think people are judging him harshly on how he's acting a character they don't know. From my understanding Sam Flynn is a guy in his late twenties that acts jaded to hide the fact that he's emotionally wounded from being deserted at such a young age.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
In the first few scenes we see him portraying the tough, jaded persona. In the scenes where he first enters the Grid, he's in shock and it takes until the games before it starts to sink in. When he sees his dad for the first time in years, everything overwhelms him and he stands in shock as tears begin to fall. The fact that Kevin is so affected by the years he's been there doesn't help Sam in dealing with the revelation... something that Quorra could have prepared him for on the way to the safe house, but chose not to.
Now, I'm not sure how you'd all act if something like that happened to you, but I personally think Garrett's take on the emotional reactions, and his acting based on that, to be perfect.
As for dialogue, I didn't have a problem with it either.
Alan & Sam have hashed their convo out many times, and those from the digital world won't converse the same as people from the real world. Perhaps the people complaining should go back & watch Tron again to get a feel for the differences.
Personally, I just find a lot of people like to complain these days

That's one of the founding principles of the internet: everything new sucks until something newer comes along and the previous thing sucks less by comparison.
