Any local theatres doing this? I have a good friend who works at one of the local theatres, and she gave me a heads up that on the 17th of November at midnight, there will be a Tron: Legacy sneak peek. It isn't free, so I'm not sure if it will be more footage than was shown at Tron Night, or the same footage, or what. Also she says that the large drinks are lightcycle cups. She's giving me details as she gets them, but I was just wondering if anyone has heard of this.

Hmmm... this sounds interesting. Probably the same thing as Tron night I would suppose...

? I know that employees usually get to see the film first, I had a friend that worked at a movie theater and we got to see a few maybe 2 weeks before they came out.
As this is a super popular movie, maybe they get to see it a month before it comes out, but I doubt that.
I don't know sounds interesting.
Keep us updated, I will ask a few friends out here and see what they say.

I'll keep you guys updated as soon as I hear anything. She says she doesn't think it will be in 3D, but she isn't sure. My guess is if it isn't free, then it might be a little more than Tron Night. I can only hope.

I'll have to check out the local theaters. I doubt it's anything they'll do in Dayton

Plus, I know there are people here who come from bigger cities. My town has about 100,000 people. My idea is that it might be Tron Night for smaller towns. That's my guess.

What you're referring to is most likely a theater owners screening. They do them for films about a month or more out from the film's release. They are open to theater owners and friends. Some critics also come out for them. I used to hit them once a week when I worked for one of the local theater companies. My favorite was seeing Gladiator about three months early. Good times.

That would be amazing if that is what this is. I'm in good with the local theatres because I imagine I give them the most business in town haha. But I'd absolutely freak if this is true.

Can you tell us what company is running the theater in question?

Yeah. theres an IMAX cinema in Uxbridge UK, running what they call "Tron Legacy Night 3D" once a night from the 12th - 18th of November.
Shame I don't live near it, cause i'd quite happy watch the Tron Night footage again 7 times!
