You want varied tastes? You should see my truly massive(1794), absolutely schizo playlist

My personal music tastes very week to week. I've got 3 gigs of music i haven't been 'in the mood' to listen to in years. I'll listen to anything once, and depending on my mood it might be the greatest thing ever.

And yet somehow, i'm always finding new bands. which are then the greatest thing ever for a week. or something.

I have no idea what you'd call my playlist for today.

Same. I cycle through my music pretty regularly. Though it is fun to set the ting to random see how whiplashy it can get. Nothing quite like going from Wagner to Ludo to Voltaire to Blue Oyster Cult to Lordi to Tchaikovsky. It's an experience

It is indeed an individually wrapped slice of Hamsa cheese. It seems the pun doesn't really work at all, but it amuses me.

yeah... I'm missing the pun altogether I guess... is it sort of like how, in forums where I can't have caps in my username people think my dad's name is Tom?

I do the same, I spend more time skipping through songs on my iPod than actually listening to them >_>

Not me. But that's probably because I only have 43 songs on my iPod at the moment. I don't have enough to skip through

Ignore the anime footage, it has nothing to do with my patriotism to the Slender Nation.

I'm not even getting onto you about the anime footage, because Hellsing is badass. Vampires, Nazis, and werewolves -- oh my! Not to mention a literal Schrodinger's cat.

My Slender Anthem is currently this:

And this song just screams EMH to me, for one reason or another:

Pretty sure it's the line, "So as it turns out, it makes no sense, so let's shut down and put the lights out." Sounds about right. Haha.

I think my musical tastes have kind of toned down over the years. I don't listen to much metal anymore, anyways. Mostly alternative, indie, folk, & electopop, it seems like lately.

Sex and love is not a game
A game is something you can win
And maybe something kind of fun
Cause love is just a bloodsport "son"

lyrics i just heard. Fits the week i've had. So i'll share with ya'll.

Also my EMH anthem:

The lyrics fit, and damsel's even posted a song off that same cd.

It's not even a proper pun, really, more a perverted example of an already debased form. "Hamsa cheese" sounds, in my head, like "ham and cheese". Next up was going to be a hamsa cheese sandwich, but now I'm looking for a new direction altogether.

I'm afraid my musical tastes atrophied years ago. I keep checking out the new-to-me groups coming up here, but none are really grabbing me. Sad

What kind of music do you usually like? Let me take this chance to plug Daft Punk, one of my all time bands

@Sitic -- That song is pretty fitting, I must say.

Second: WHY THANK YOU.
Third: That was creepy, but works brilliantly.

@Mattwan -- Don't feel bad. It seems we all have fairly varied taste. I'm sure something will come along you can latch onto. Very Happy

No particular kind, which makes recommendations hard. I haven't listened to Daft Punk in ages, but maybe should try them again. I remember liking what I heard.

I loved Underworld's earlier stuff, like their more recent stuff OK enough. Was a big Rufus Wainwright fan but have kind of cooled on him, now mostly only listen to cuts from his first two albums. Love a lot of showtunes and the jazz standards, especially with female vocalists--I could listen to anything by Nina Simone all day. Devendra Banhart, Rilo Kiley, just...random stuff, lol.
