That's totally okay! That's why I was thinking everyone can just put together their own thing, even if it's just a card, to send to them -- and then we don't have to stress about the whole 'pooling money' thing. It will be an eclectic and beautiful little clusterf*ck, just like us. :'-D

It'd be neat if we could ensure that each of them gets a nice present (for instance, I found something that would be perfect for Jeff). I'm still really loving the HoL idea, but it's something we'd have to discuss more to see if we could actually pull it off -- at the same time, not every member of the crew would be able to keep just that one book, so I'd like to make sure that they each come away with something that can be uniquely theirs.

Yeah, a temporary forum (nothing fancy, just a proboards-type thing with a default layout) would probably serve well if we're going to do this. I would set it up, but I have class in the morning and it's already past 2:30.

My copy of House of Leaves is actually full of notes- which will come in handy for the endgame I'm sure- but I also have a very new copy of MZD's other book, Only Revolutions. If I could somehow package it and run it to the post office without my Mom getting suspicious I could send that over.
