I read the beginning of the thread! HOW DO I MISS THESE THINGS.

Oh well. The slash fic isn't really my thing anyway, I like the creepy genfic better. (I'm sure that after a few days of hanging around here that will change. Sigh.)

Also I must go to bed now or else I will be late to work for the fourth day in a row and that would be bad.

 		Awww G.I.R you should have a fake birthday during this month just to keep this whole our birthdays being clustered together thing going. July is pretty cool though.

Also I just jumped in and feel horrible because I never got hazed into the forum. Oh man I'm like that creeper who just knew everything and was like wham, friends now yes? I should feel ashamed but I can't because everyone here is too awesome.

I wouldn't say that's creepy........Slendy's way of making friends is creepy. Lurking, watching, waiting, eviscerating. I don't think he's as socially adept as we are Very Happy

EDIT: BTW I've nicknamed you lot The Brood Very Happy I thought it a good nickname with me being Den Mama and all that Very Happy lol.

 		Untitled Fanfic Offering
Apparently watching some OOG videos (the one with Jessa and Evan drawing that was linked waaaay back in this thread = super cute!) helped solidify the fourth wall in my head enough that I'm able to write fanfic without feeling too weird about it.

Something was wrong.

He couldn't tell the guys, of course, not with everything else that was going on. Jeff was barely functional, between Jessa and Alex, and Vince, well… he was still convinced that this was the world's most elaborate prank. Somehow. So he just kept it to himself.

The Hybrids, their fans or audience or fellow victims, whatever you wanted to call them, they all thought he was crazy. He wasn't so computer-illiterate that he couldn't figure out the message boards, and he skimmed through the comments and discussion after Jeff posted their videos. It didn't make sense, what they were saying, and he went back and watched the video of Ryan's memorial six times. There was nothing. Someone posted a video titled "Evan" that they claimed had all the clips where he was acting like some kind of homicidal maniac, but he blinked when he clicked play, and then he lost eighty minutes.

That's what was wrong. He kept losing time. Not like blackouts, but just… blink, and then time had passed, and he was in a different place, and things in his room had moved. He'd sit down to try and sketch out the nightmares he'd been having lately, then suddenly he'd be at his desk, sharpening his knife, his new computer open in front of him. The sketchbook was on the bed, closed. No drawings, no messages, nothing.

The new computer bothered him too. He didn't quite know why he decided to get it; it certainly wasn't because of Jeff's constant mocking about how he refused to enter the twenty-first century. Once, he was poking around, and found a bunch of folders he didn't remember creating. They were password protected, and he didn't know what the password was.

After that, he didn't really use the laptop that much. At least, not that he remembered.

He was starting to get headaches, too, pressure behind his eyes that felt like someone was trying to shove them out of his skull. Or maybe someone was trying to shove him out of his skull. He heard things, felt things, sometimes, things that didn't belong to him. Whispers and laughter and wisps of memory, something to do with forks and rabbits and tall men in white coats.

God, maybe he was crazy.

But he couldn't let this beat him. Crazy or no, he was the only one who could handle what was coming. Vince didn't want to see, Jeff couldn't see beyond his grief and fear, and Alex was just a kid. He knew what they were up against. The tall thin faceless thing and the naked hellbeast were so much worse than whatever was going on in his head. He could beat this. He had to.

His phone chimed, and he reached over and flipped it open. Jeff wanted him to check out some of the links on the latest video. Maybe he'd found something?

Evan sighed, sat up off his bed, and blinked.
