new idea: HABIT's tweets are to be read in the voice of a melodramatic shakespearean actor.

That is the best idea I've heard for the voice of the tweets. Though now I'm picturing Evan reading them in that fashion. Which I think might be even better.

yessss. welp, my job here is done. time for me to go pass out under a pile of blankets for a few hours.

"Likest thou jelly within thy donut?"
"Nay, but with sprinkles 'pon it, and frosting of white."

(sorry, it was the first thing that came to mind when I read that)

When you guys pronounce Caesar, do you pronounce it Cesar, or Kaisar?
Damn fallout New Vegas keeps making me mix them up.

See-zar.

Kaiser is something completely different.

I'm still working my way through Fallout 3. Picked up the game of the year edition about two-three weeks ago, so I've got all the DLC. And the alien ship is KILLING ME. It's not that it's especially difficult, I've just gotten sick of it, so my will to play and finish the damn thing is kinda low.

30s? *sob* we won't see the 30s again until march.

edit: i know this isn't really the place to plug friends' stuff, but this girl is phenomenal and she has less than a week to raise $2,700 to make music/art. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kaylaoberlin/kayla-oberlin-plays-and-paints-ukuleles she's adorable and talented and i invite you all to donate/spread the link. it would be a shame if the internet failed her in this.

Will to Live
an EMH ficlet

No idea if this is any good or not. Hope you enjoy:

Quote:
Vince woke up feeling...warm.

He pressed his face deeper into his pillow and hitched his comforter higher around his shoulders. The cold winter air of New Jersey had penetrated his room, leaving only the blankets and his body heat as a defense.

His elbow hit something solid when he turned onto his side, and he smiled. Not just his body heat.

Evan was cuddled against him, buried underneath the blankets with his eyes squeezed shut and shoulders hunched to keep out the cold. He'd appeared at Vince's bedroom window the night before, shivering in the cold and scratching at the glass as his breath crystallized from his mouth. He'd silently begged to be let in and, well, what else was Vince supposed to do?

It was almost like taking care of a puppy, with this particular stray being fed milk and pizza and wrapped in a blanket to be cuddled into submission throughout the night. Evan hadn't said anything about what prompted his visit when he first showed up, which Vince respected. There were some things you didn't talk about right away.

Now, he just put his arm over Evan's body, pulling him close until they were flush against each other. There were worse ways to wake up in the morning, and if doing this meant he never had to see Evan looking so cold and frightened again, it would be worth it.

(it did immediately conjure images from "let the right one in," tho. which is an amazing book/movie and an okay american remake.)

i'm such a sucker for hurt/comfort. and cuddling. especially when it's both together. hee.

I love Let the Right One In! It was an awesome movie! (the actual film, not the super shitty American version, uggggh.)

I'm glad you liked it. Smile
