Much more sandbox-y, though not to the same degree as Fallout. You start on a linear path, get through some early plot stuff, then you're given some major plot quests and a whole big galaxy to explore and do sidequests in. Once you've completed the plot quests, you can trigger the end-game, which locks you back into a linear path.


I checked Gamestops website and I have about enough money for both of them. Thanks for bringing these games back to my attention! Now time to be hyped until I can go and buy them Cool (I like buying games at stores for more sales and what not)

 		The only way this weekend could get better is if there's a new EMH video sometime before Monday. That would make this one of the bestest weekends ever.

And if the video came out really late on Sunday/really early on Monday again, well, I can just call in sick.

"Hi, yeah, sorry, not gonna be in. Suffering a severe case of fangirlitis. Over-exposure to awesome in two fandoms, it's tragic. The only cure is staying at home in bed and watching the videos that caused it over and over again. Gotta kill it with an overdose. That's science."

 		Sigh. Had my first EMH-related dream last night. It did not involve me getting kidnapped by the guys; rather, it involved new videos being posted. There were, like, 20-30 really short (30 seconds or less) videos, then a longer one with HABIT!Evan ranting for a little over a minute about... something, I don't really remember now, then an even longer one that I don't really remember well but it ended with them going into a kitchen in an empty house, finding Jessa sitting on the floor with her back to the camera. Jeff ran over to her and started screaming, and then later Vince and Evan were doing the wrap-up and one of them said that Jessa didn't have a face, like Slenderman.

Unfortunately, I was unable to really enjoy this, even in my dream, because when I saw all the little videos I was like "what? this makes no sense, they wouldn't do something like-- oh, crap, I'm dreaming."

oof. that would be...unsettling. one of my private horrors is facial mutilation/distortion. ol' slendy is so inhuman anyway that it doesn't really bother me, but...gah. we've seen jessa smiling and talking and laughing. blankface!jessa would be horrifying. i do not envy you your dream. O.o

They didn't show her face, though. It would be creepy as all fuck, especially if they could do the effects well enough to make it look real. Which is basically what I was thinking in the dream as I was watching it, because at that point I knew it was a dream and was mildly irked that I hadn't woken up to to find a new EMH video waiting for me. (I was not apparently thinking well enough to actually wake up and see if there was a new video. Which there isn't. So disappointment no matter what. Le sigh.)
