Okay so I'm away from my home this weekend, and since I'm traveling, I bought a book. Specifically I bought House of Leaves. I am about halfway through.

Also my dad's house is really dark and really quiet and how did I not notice that before? >.>

It's interesting to read through this and see some of the similarities and inspirations for EMH, though. As soon as I read the description of "Exploration #4" (the first one in the very beginning of the book), I was like "oh, yeah, that's the hidden videos right there!". And I kind of geeked out when I got to the "Why did god create a dual universe?" bit.

So, yes, thank you to everyone who told me that I should read this book, it's great. Going to go read more now before lunch. Smile
