That's pretty awesome, haha.
I personally never got actually scared from the whole "Ben Drowned" story and ARG but the original blog was pretty creepy. It was a pretty good way to spend a day, reading the posts and watching those gameplay videos of the haunted cartridge Smile

ON A TOTALLY DIFFERENT TOPIC NOW.

I thought you guys might like to know that Didz is, in fact, fine. Her internet got disconnected, but she says she'll be back with us shortly. =3

Given the fact these guys like to reference shit in their videos, am I the only one expecting one of the EMH guys to look in a keyhole, and when asked what he sees, respond with 'I don't know, it's all red'.

Or maybe they walk through some woods and as they reach a river it's filled with dolls, with a N64 cartridge with BEN written on the front floating in it or some shit.

Guys, guys! I just finished making my skirt! Now I just have to make the corset and I'm done!

Not that that has anything to do with anything, but I was excited. What's the 'Ben drowned' thing?

Google 'You shouldn't have done that' or 'Haunted Majora's Mask'.

It's less flat out creepy, more 'kinda cool, little unsettling'.

They did have a site up, prophecising the moon crashing into the world like Majora's mask, with people planning shooting up schools, and a hidden page giving you a time limit to warn them. It got stopped because the guy making the think ran out of budget.

Mike-Oh. That's... mildly unsettling, I guess. I don't think the EMH boys would do something like that, though. Might just be me.

Raven-Well I just really like making pretty things, but it's actually a cosplay for a little known anime I watched when I was younger. It's a lot less lame than it sounds...

Raven-That's pretty awesome. I love hearing about people who make their own fancy stuff. It makes me feel like I'm not alone. And hell yeah about the re-purposing. I might be making a friend's wedding dress sometime soon, and I think she's up for a more 'slinky' style (as opposed to classic poof skirts) that can be worn elsewhere.

What anime is it for? And do you have any patterns for corsets? *like sewing too*

Raven-Thankie kindly.

Luipaard-It's called Princess Aya. I've looked everywhere for it, but every time an episode goes up it's immediately taken down Sad

Oh, and I draft my own patterns. It's just a better idea, in my opinion. I have a very helpful PDF file on my favorites somewhere that walks you through the steps of drafting corsets from different time periods. For this I'm just going with a general underbust. What sort of things do you make?

Also, it's okay to talk about this stuff here, right? I mean, it is the off-topic thread...

@Cor, I'll have to check it out. Smile

Oh man, that's brave of you, to make your own pattern! Very Happy What will make the mockup be made of, just muslin?

I've made a few quilts and one Renaissance dress. Nothing very complicated. I haven't been sewing for that long.

It's absolutely fine to talk about it. Very Happy Its the OT thread for a reason.
