Definitely an interesting dream. I just wanted to comment about the end of it, where the woman said that Evan was really old. This made a lot of sense to me because I kind of imagine HABIT as almost like the first evil from Buffy. What she said makes sense if he's been around since the beginning of time, slowly becoming sentient as more and more 'badness' shows up in humanity.

That's just me, though.

Anyway, I certainly hope that this won't get in the way of the rest of the chapters of replica -pointed stare-.

@DZombar IKR? I was so fucking happy when I woke up, I can't even tell you. I just stared at the wall for a couple of seconds, grinning, because I didn't know my brain was capable of that. And then I realized I needed to write it down or else I'd forget, and then that immediately switched to NO I HAVE TO TELL EVERYONE THEY'LL KILL ME IF I DON'T.

And that thought became THIS IS SUCH A GREAT IDEA FOR A FANFIC.

@Cor Haven't seen Buffy for a long time, I get what you mean though. Have to say that I've got a different idea about HABIT and Evan, but that's just me as well.

Lol! replica is in perfect shape -- chapter two is mostly written, chapter three is partially written and chapter four is complete. (What?) No worries on that front. I've got school and other fanfic obligations though, which is why I've been so slow.

Luipaard- What's your idea for HABIT and Evan? Or will it be revealed in the ficcy? And I understand about the other obligations. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter, though. I don't think I've come across a multi-chaptered EMH fic (even composed of one-shots?)

@Cor It'll probably take place in the fic, but I don't mind telling you.

I think HABIT's dead. I think the incident where the MT4 "succumbed" was code for Corenthal being forced to put them down. Maybe the other Fairmount children found peace, I don't know. But I think HABIT was so full of anger and hate that he's stuck around as a ghost or poltergeist, or something. Heck, maybe all the kids stuck around. At any rate, I think Evan is being possessed/inHABITed by a ghost, or else HABIT is spirit that's attached itself to his family.

Have you ever read/seen Ayashi no Ceres? I think of HABIT as being a very similar entity to Ceres.

Considering how few fics EMH has, replica will definitely be the first fic with multiple chapters. (Unless someone beats me to it in the meantime....)

I haven't read that, but it sounds like an interesting theory. Any ideas as to why he's running the tournament?

On another note, how terrible would it be of me to throw a little 'story' into the Slender Man card game I'm making? I have a bunch of red markings and stuff about EMH and Marble Hornets and all on the cards already. The idea was that someone had the game before you and wrote all these things, but now I'm making the rulebook and I don't think it's very apparent. It would just be a bland little thing; some guy's locked himself into a windowless room after getting into the mythos and is waiting for Slender Man to get him.
