So ir's 6:51AM here, and I was just woken out of a sound sleep by the first nightmare I've had in months. And who did it involve but our ol' Slendy!

The dream was tame right up until the end. I was shopping at a store and testing out infrared sunglasses for some reason (the store was full of hidden subliminal messages printed underneath, kind of what it looked like in They Live) and then I went outside and into someone's home. I'd dropped a bunch of change in a closet when I was going to hang up my coat, when suddenly a bunch of guys walked in; I recognized Vinnie and Evan from EH and Alex from MH, and for some reason Evan was carrying a little girl- his daughter- on his shoulders. Abruptly there was a painful ringing in my ears, and then I went almost completely deaf- and I outright panicked because somehow I KNEW that this meant Slender Man was there.

There was some sort of argument after that, part of it revolving around Evan not doing something (I remember saying "It's his KID, man! Of course he's going to protect her!") before Alex pulled out his camera and offered to review some footage he'd apparently shot involving me. Then the dream's perspective switches to the recording's, as the camera is apparently set down on a table in a hallway, showing a table with a modem of some kind on it. The recording was fine for a few seconds, then a shadow passed over the hallway and the view went a stark black-and-white; as the shadow passed, Slender Man's shirt and tie were just barely visible behind the table with the modem, and then the view fuzzed. I thought that the recording was over- this is about the point a regular SM-based video would cut- but then there was another bit of video showing Slendy's head extremely out-of-focus, and his hand reaching towards the camera as if to pick it up...

...and I woke up in a freaking panic.

So yeah. Fuck you, brain, for doing that to me on a day off. And thanks bunches for the paranoia, Jeff (aka DocJowles/Didz/Dixie_Wolf/SCREW IT YOU'RE ALL JEFF ALL OF YOU).

I'm going to try to go back to sleep now.

I had a nightmare about Slenderman a week ago. Only nightmare i've had of him, and first nightmare in a year or so.

It had me, my gf, and some pretty pale girl, black haired, who was presumably a member of the forums here (no one specific oddly). We were all wearing formalish black clothes, me in a dress shirt black pants black vest and red tie. Forumgirl in a goth-ish black dress. And Girlfriend in another black dress, but less gothy.

We were walking around a marshy swampland, sometimes foresty. Fog rolling (think those creepy woods and swamps from the first 2 Fable games). We were presumably looking for something Slendy related, and i'll skip the other small details (such as one of the girls complaining about somehow having water in her shoes, despite it not being physically possible).

As we walk on we see Slendy in the distance, and freaked out and ran back from whence we came. As we head back we move through what looks like a WW1 entrenchment camp, but gave a more WW2 impression. The troops let us pass, and were Def WW2 American soldiers. As we walk through I notice a tv switching between colour and black/white. It was showing Hogan's Heroes (and I point out the show wasn't made till after WW2). We return to this cramped building that we were presumed to suddenly have lived in the whole time. As we knock on this little closet sized room a young man we know (presumably) and talk to. We close the door but have a weird feeling, so reopen it to see him gone. It's assumed that Sledny followed us back.

Although it doesn't seem scary the dreary and disturbing atmosphere never leaves us, even after the swamp. It constatly feels like death is around every corner.

It's at time's like these that I'm glad I don't remember my dreams. The only Slenderman one I remember is the one where he ate Samara and then there was this horrible Slenderman/Samara mishmash coming to get me. And it was in space.
