now for my actual contribution to the thread, in true off-topic fashion:

my boss and i will be bitching about being unable to attend the meetup when i go to work tomorrow. i started babbling to him a few weeks ago about EMH, and last week he started watching it. i shall have to convince him to join the forum so we can speculate in more or less real-time.

(also, i'm not too shabby at writing, but dear gods i can't bring myself to write any slashfic for EMH. my filters are nonexistent and i'd be mortified to be called out by the boys on anything i'd written. @__@ so folks who have written things, my greatest thanks and jealousies. you are braver men than i.)

hah, luckily, no. but my baby brother was born on january 5th, so they'd make us celebrate our birthdays together with our family. (then again, for all i know, they did just give my baby brother and me a couple of our christmas gifts for our respective birthdays. i never really paid attention to all that. too busy reading.)

@billywithak no worries, dearie. i'm a lousy artist, so i get all squiggle-hearted when people draw things i want to see drawn and do so with some degree of skill.

i know what to do if we want a separate emh fanfic/art thread.

we make a new thread with a really innocuous title like "superfluous emh thread."

we then fill the first two pages with really stupid posts. "vince has an amazing beard," "evan is a badass," "i hope sparky's okay," etc.

then on the third page...

SLASHFIC. SLASHFIC EVERYWHERE.

On Christmas and Birthday presents... mine's a week *after* Christmas. So, while I have no definite proof, I'm pretty sure my gifts were always split up between the two <.<
