oh thank my merciful heathen gods i'm not alone in my insanity. granted, my boss thought it was funny as hell too, but he's kind of...let's just say that like me, he considers the discovery of thousands of aborted fetuses in a temple in asia and the possible uses for them to be completely normal work conversation.

And this just begs the question... Where do you work?

Leda, you're making me want to break my months-long tea fast.

And by fast I mean that I've never gotten around to buying more teabags. *sigh*

Maybe really milky coffee will suffice...

Tea is the best thing ever. Ever. Well, almost. It's right up there with Chris Colfer and Evan.

You keep mentioning this Chris Colfer person. I finally took it upon myself to Google him, and finally realised that he plays Kurt Hummel. Not seen the show myself, but I roleplay with a Kurt, and oh my goodness he is the most adorable. <3

Chris Colfer does an amazing job playing Kurt. He is prolly my fav character on the show.
I also think that the girl who plays Quinn does a really good job acting; she is wonderful with subtleties and conveying much with very little.

in the underbelly of a library, actually. we send documents and rare books to frenzied grad students, researchers, scientists, professors, morbidly curious laypersons, etc. the company is called "minitex" and it serves most of the american midwest. it's nice and quiet and kind of boring, so conversation gets kind of weird. also, my boss used to be just my coworker, so we have that informal kind of relationship from working together for a year. (he's a big decemberists fan and was overjoyed to hear them in EMH, hah.)

That's a difficult scale to work with, but I'm gonna have to say platypus.

Edit: I found out it was ladies' night after the mimosa. I don't know how many free beers they gave me. Way too many, I think. Plus, my friend bought me a lemon drop, and me & vodka are definitely not BFFs. I had to retype like 20 of those words. I still don't know if I make sense.

Yay! So you, too, know the joys of a b'day the week before Christmas.

(One year, on my birthday, my parents told me to just pick a couple of wrapped packages that were already under the tree--they had a tradition of putting everything but the big gifts out in early December. That ever happen to you?)

My birthday is 2 days after Christmas >.> (27th) That has happened to me on some occassions, not all of them. <.<

Good lord, that is amazing in every way. Evan freaking out with the baseball bat on "dancing like we're dumb" made me crack up.

YOU INCLUDED SPLENDORMAN! And the Warning audio man I could listen to that forever. <3
