That light cycle with the trail behind it is from a limited run of stuff in Japan. I got one on ebay, can post a pic if you like. I also got a tank from the same run.

Very awesome trailer. I pooped bricks. >_<
The figure is of one of Sark's Guards from Tron (1982), just slightly skinnier than they are in the movie. The yellow Light Cycle is from Medicom Japan, a limited edition toy/maquette.

There is one subtle thing in the trailers that for some reason is bothering me. First is the scene where Sam puts a quarter in the Tron machine, and now in the new trailer it's where Kevin tosses Sam a quarter and says let's go hit the arcade tomorrow.
Flynn's arcade takes tokens, not quarters.
We know this 'cause there is a sign that is pretty clear in the first movie.
I know it's an almost insignificant detail, and I'm pretty much nit-picking at nothing... But am I the only one that was bothered by this?

That scene is intended to be symbolic. I'm sure they were going to exchange it for a coin at the arcade. Also, maybe that explains why Sam has his quarter rejected?
Think about it........

Yeah, I thought of that, but it just felt a little like I was making excuses for a slip up by the director.
But again, it's such a minor thing that if this is the only real complaint I have, then the film is going to be freakin' awesome!

Spoiler Tags, because this speculation might be a little TOO close...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Kevin was going to show Sam the computer world!
He KNOWS that his machines take tokens, not quarters! He also knows that the Tron machine is secret, special... and that perhaps a specifically weighted metal slug that LOOKS like a quarter is the 'key' that unlocks the machine! A coin that Sam has carried with him all his life... the last thing his dad ever gave him... the coin that Sam tried to use that one fateful night, over twenty years later.

(Really clever speculation in spoiler tag omitted)
You are wise Jedi.
OK, we really need a Yoda emoticon.

Damn. That's pretty good, dude. I didn't even think that he might be implying that when he threw Sam the quarter.
OK, I feel much better about the whole thing, thanks.

Closer Look... Has anyone looked into Sam's room or anything possibly in the background of the sets/scenes? Just curious...

Stray observation:
At the end of the trailer...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Clu(?) says "Out there is a new world, out there is our destiny".
Maybe implying that he wants to escape to the real human world? And if that's the case, I can imagine a whole Quorra coming in to the real world and living like a normal human with Sam story happening...

My 2 tokens...

I thought he said your not new. But I do agree with the rest of your speculation. Especially considering the classic style poster.

we've all seen sam put the quarter in the tron machine, and get rejected, then notice the scratches in the cement.
on tron night we saw him inspect the machine and realize it's simply on hinges and swings open to reveal a sliding door.
if you didn't see tron night footage, I leave the rest a mystery.
