(Off Topic) Halloween Costumes! Okay, so this is a thread about how to make a Slender Man costume, and yes, you guessed it, for Halloween. But here's the thing: how do you turn a 5'4" girl with long hair into a 6'+ Slondormonz with a bald and no face?
Stilts, no problem, I have a suit that I'm fairly certain I can lengthen to cover 'em. The face though, I am completely stumped. I've tried ye olde stockings over the face. I've even tried papier mache (oh god that was an experience.) I've kind of put this costume aside because Hallween is coming up so fast and I'm beginning to get discouraged with it all.
Maybe you guys have some suggestions? (One of my friends has pretty much everything she needs to dress up as Masky, and if it's possible to be able to wander around as the Slender Man for Halloween with her I think that would be pretty spiffy!)

Funny thing, I just got back from the store not 5 minutes ago with what I'm using. Have you tried stockings and/or control panties? You can get them at Wal-Mart for about $5.
Oh, and on a completely unrelated note, if any of you are trick or treating down here in Calgary, keep your eyes out for a jack-o-lantern that looks like our favorite slender anomaly, that'll be our house

I went looking for 'em, but alas, I couldn't find them! Running around Chinook Mall didn't turn anything up, which I found weird!
Thanks for the suggestion, though! If I can put this together in time for Halloween, perhaps I'll have time to slenderprank you... or better yet, if you have any friends really in to MH that you want to get pranked...? >:3 Nya ha ha haha!

Well... I *do* have a few who get freaked out by MH. And with the both of us we could appear to be in two places at once....
Man, Halloween makes me evil

I'm actually just putting the finishing touches on my "Masky" mask because I'm too cheap to buy a real costume... if there are any Slendermans in the Seattle area this weekend, let me know so we can pal around together; I'll do your bidding; etc.

While I'm not doing a costume that is Slenderman-related, I was gonna have an awesome costume, but I don't have the money to finish it. I did make an awesome mask, though, if anyone would like to see it. =D

There best be pictures of these Slendermen costumes when they are done.

Yay, someone's paying attention to me. =D lol
These are the three phases: The two cardboard cutouts that make the mask, the cutouts with a layer of paper mache, and the final product with a lay of pulp paper mache.
The costume was suppose to be Tricky The Clown of Madness Combat fame. Unfortunately, I didn't have the money for the wig. D:

There will be pictures, but I need to find a dark suit jacket first. (The only one I have is Tan.)
*sigh* guess it's time to hit Value Village tomorrow...

And for something from me on-topic... I always considered using some fabric like Spandex or something for the mask for Slenderman. It can cover your whole head and you'll still be able to breath and see (somewhat). I suppose you'd have to be careful since it might be hard to see in the dark..

I ended up going all out and buying a Morphsuit for my Slendy costume (I can double as the Rake if that gets boring!) but I had a friend who went last year as Rorschach from the Watchmen. I think he used white baby's clothes for the mask. I can't make exact reccomendations, all I have are vague recollections of going down to Target and getting weird looks from expectant mothers when we were trying out stuff on our heads. Maybe do that; experiment a little!
