re-reading the files in more depth, clearly the hackers were concerned for Caesar...

Also, do you realize how many Matrix references there are in there?... Off the grid, plugged in, Joe Pantoliano (Cypher)!!!!

Well, maybe Pantoliano. Which, now that I think of it, he was a Caesar too, once, wasn't he?

What if, just maybe, they were the "kids" Beth talked about that were also there...

Caesar and Random could be two prodigies, perhaps "potentials" or the like? They're good at hacking/cracking and they seem pretty smart...

Almost certain you're right. She mentioned a couple of kids at the last anomaly, and it sounds like Caesar and Random have seen more than one, too - they know the pattern that Beth has figured out. And it is indeed related to the whomps.

Incidentally, did anyone take a note of the whomps and the locations of the processors they were logged on in relation to any anomalies happening that day? Might be something in the distance from the anomaly site , the whomps being lesser as you get further from the epicentre.

man, that is so not fair. I spend all day yestedrday bitching about getting a paintover update, I get back to work this morning, and it's old news!!!

So, it looks like Random is the only one who hasn't given up on Ceasear... which makes me curious about some of the others and given the nature of Caesar's rant, curious about whether or not they'll come back to the fold.

I agree that they were at an anomaly, the "kids" Beth talks about. Does this mean C is into all this paranormal crap as well, or does he know something more?

Damn... soo much catching up to do.

No work for me today...

Yeah, I remember hearing about bound from the commentry on the matrix dvd I think... it was their 'experimental' film or something Smile ... I can't quite remember... to be honest with you - this reminds me of the post I made previously on here about the 'Caesar' discovery I made on IMDB...

http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=18786#18786

I find it VERY interesting that I wrote as a reply to someone elses reply to my post my - the way in which someone might have found the username 'caesar' by searching for his name on the internet...

Quote:
It was just really wierd too see him there, put yourself in James' shoes... one day he decides to check the internet for anyone with his name that is famous .. ( we've all done it heheh ) and he discovers this fella... "Oooh - he did a shakespeare film, I liked Julius Caesar" - Hey presto, he has an online alias... you see what I mean?

I still think that Avery is Caesar.

( somehow )

the NOT files have only strengthened my belief in that - as he has mentioned Pantoliano's name which we will obviously search for in the IMDB.

just another little theory of mine...

There is something about the way Caesar's rant today sounded, something rather depressing. Very disjointed in the thought flow, but compared to his other conversations I've read much more "whole" in a written sense.

Seeing as how he mentioned the "Ripley's Believe it or Not" I think he very well may have been present at the last event, or something similar. Perhaps Caesar is the young man standing behind the tree in the Vortex photoraph, whoever it is, they are wearing a hooded sweatshirt, and have a generally younger frame judging from the shape of the hand. Just a conclusion to be jumped at, really.

All in all, it sounds like C is having a breakdown.

Does anyone remember the short Beyond on Animatrix?

An anomoly, some kids and an older girl?

Just seemed to strike a chord with me, too similar to not mention.

Yeah, that was one of us. He said he liked the "outlaw" sound of it (Jesse James, Wongmo James)

Ok, this may be obvious to everyone, but I haven't seen it mentioned, so:

III, i, and I'm still here.

Act III scene 1 in Julius Caesar is where Caesar gets stabbed by Brutus. Nothing profound, but that's what Caesar's referring to, in connection with most of the group leaving him following scratch's "betrayal."

Also, this is even more obvious, but no one seems to have actually said it:

He played Caesar Enrico Bandello... see this page for more info:

Hey, if the game world has Bound in it, then it has the Wachowski brothers...so it has The Matrix as well? How crazy would that be? Wouldn't the main characters be saying things like, "Man, I feel like I'm in the Matrix!" And they ARE! I don't know why that strikes me as really funny, but it does.

How do you know we aren't? Sounds like the thinking of a machine to me... create two programs and say they are brothers (Andy and Larry), get them to "create" this whole matrix idea and get the films made. That way no one suspects.
