Not SM related, unless it has a cousin that is a decorator with a fetish for college boys and a bad leg.
But otherwise, a very cool series, up to video 4. I like specially that the videos are short.
PS: If someone misread the letter, its MARK nor ARK. Right guys? Thanks.

I think the guy with the cane is Slenderman's Granpa and he is leaving little Slendy's baby toys all over the place.

I got the invite, too. I also got an invite from that BeyondTheNeon guy. How are these people finding us? I got the message from RikuV2
My guess is that they're going through the MarbleHornets / EverymanHYBRID subscription lists to find people interested in this type of thing; RikuV2 is subscribed to both.

Obviously he's BeCominG acquainted with the flux. Does no one read descriptions anymore?

All I know is I watched a guy sleep on the floor with his butt in the air, while his furniture did the disappearing/reappearing act!

Actually it looked like he was moved somewhere or teleported. You can tell by the window that it's not the same place as the room he started in.

Yes, it was nothing big. But then, it is original and they do good effects with nothing. That guy following the protagonist in the bathroom was very well done.

I really like the ghost's costume, it's very effective and yet so simple. Were it only that easy to do a Slenderman costume.
Speaking of slenderman, I think the idea here might be "Why should he be the only one getting youtube videos? Let's try telling a ghost story the same way > "
Gonna keep an eye on this.

Which is kind of cool. The SM will enter the mainstream media, someone will do a filme about him, someone stupid like Üwe Boll and them, the mythology will be ruined for ever!

It might yet have something to do with Slender Man. Something about that Watchman poster reminds me of that poster in TribeTwelve.

Just caught up on this one. My one thought is that the "layer" thing might be intended to make us think of different layers of reality. Perhaps the man with the cane is a ghost whose residence in the land of the dead happens to coincide with Kurt's residence in our world - hence shoving the furniture about, hence doing normal sort of things like popping to the bathroom or sitting around on the bed, hence attacking a perceived interloper like Kurt.
Perhaps Kurt's interactions with this is going to lead to him transitioning between "layers" - that could be what we see happening in "sublayer".
Possibly the increasing layer numbers correspond to the "depth" of Kurt's entanglement in this phenomenon. At number 1 things weren't so crazy, but now we're at 5 he's got gentlemen with canes giving him soft toys and imposing themselves upon his delicate boyish person.

When you mentioned layers of reality, my mind immediately went to Eversion.
And that made me picture a really fucked up video series...

So the shadowy intruder tricks a young man into the shower and follows him in, spies on him sleeping, and leaves gifts of stuffed animals?
I think I know who the Man with the Cane is.
