Today's post is a reference to an old Sci-Fi movie, Forbidden Planet. Google "monsters from the id" and check out the Wikipedia article about Forbidden Planet. Interesting stuff to incorporate into a Slenderman blog.

I think it's safe to say Hikingfiend is finally done. Kind of a weak ending.

If that's true, then all I have to say is that the beginning was paced and written very well but it sort of jumped the shark after he was attacked by The Wicked Gentleman. The writing of the insanity-slippage parts was lackluster at best. It was cool for a while but if this is the end, I would recommend to the author to work on some elements of more 'insane' and horror-style storytelling before doing another Slenderblog or other Slenderseries.

Yeah, to be honest, I was running out of ideas about halfway through the blog. But, it was my first Slenderblog, so, I figure this is a good enough starting ground to improve my skills.

Had to keep my involvement in it down somehow. Plus, I did point out some of my own faults just for that purpose.

Compare the writing style of the last two posts with that of those before. Use of interjections and exclamation points, a different vocabulary, general tone, they're all different. There's also greater repetition. It's either one very talented author, or two different ones. Odds are better for two different ones.
