not really

Because when you walk into a place with a black light, white on your shirt shows up, the lint on your clothing shows up.

i just figured that the white specs in the images would reveal a word, code, number or something.

I think blacklight inks only apply to colors and such. White should always show up.

I mean, they don't make the lint on your clothes with blacklight ink so it sounded reasonable in my head. Rolling Eyes

>.< Duh, sorry, wasn't thinking of the the fact white glows under a blacklight. I would give it a try, but alas, no black light. However, at this rate...I am think I need to buy one, learn how to use photoshop, and...I think there was one other skill used recently that would be useful for the next ARG, assuming there is one which I hope there is!

By the time I even knew it was going on, the video had already been unlocked.

I wish I was getting cell phone notifications, or emails, anything... when FL.com updates.

Just gotta say - if there does indeed end up being a massive end-of-line event on Dec 17th for the movie in NYC, I am so very much going to take a weekend vacation and get over there.

For one, who in their right mind wouldn't? =P
Secondly, to meet so many of y'all who would be thinking the same as me Smile
Thirdly, who in their right mind wouldn't? =P

One of the best things about this kind of entertainment is building the community and making virtual friends across many borders, then treasuring the rare opportunities you get to actually meet in one context, because everyone's of like mind, and the same geek level Cool Laughing

I hope for people on the west coast that if there is a big event in NYC, there's one in LA (I'd be surprised, frankly, if there weren't).

so... one month left... what's next on the Tron docket? Very Happy

There have been better ones in the past. But hey, it's free.

I'm sure there are better ones that I've not tried.

phew.
that was a lot of reading. some 70 pages of posts.
Got my badge. yay.

Great job to you folk who figured it out. I'm sorry I missed the fun!

Hopefully they'll bust out a game a week leading up to the movie.

You guys can keep your cars and bikes. I'd be thrilled just to get a pass to a pre-screening, al a TDK.

Now, all we need are our "Kevin Flynn Found" badges... hopefully in the next 3 1/2 weeks...

I just want to say congrats to all you skilled code breakers, artists, computer engineers and Tron fans and thanks for a wonderful ride! I was once a lurker and I could see the camaraderie and sharpness of this team, so I decided to join Unforum. And together we have conquered any and all of the puzzles 42 Entertainment threw at us. And when most of us couldn't make it to special events like Comic-Con, members who could make it were generous enough to bring back swag and share it with the forum. We have SoCalSteve and shaved_ape creating "Geometric Answers", all the while 42 E has been watching and I don't think any harm is going to come upon those two because the PMs 'recognize' what huge fans we are, they're like "Aww, who cares if they make those, it's pretty nice of them to do that." So, just wanted to say thanks and I'll be seeing all of you on the Grid! DOWN WITH CLU!!!!!

End of Line----------------

You aren't by chance the lurker 42E has?

Funny how that was a request a few pages back.

I'd like to note that the idea of giving away Ducatis was mine. I didn't say for everyone though - let's be realistic. Now 4 of them at special premieres...

I still want an 89 Forever keychain. Some day maybe I could buy the Camaro.

So anyway, on with the group hug.

With all this communal good feeling going on, when are we going to start planning some viewing parties of the original to be followed by heading to the premiere? I think that sounds fun. (Have 20th Anniv. DVD, will travel.)
Cool

Please don't try to make "chopped57.com" in game. It isn't.

Would seeing what files the PDFs were created from be of any help?
Code:
1.pdf Untitled-1-924365354.jpg
2.pdf = Untitled-1-924365357.jpg
3.pdf = Untitled-2-924365368.jpg
4.pdf = Untitled-1-924365366.jpg
5.pdf = Untitled-1-924365364.jpg
6.pdf = Untitled-1-924365358.jpg
7.pdf = Untitled-1-924365355.jpg
8.pdf = Untitled-1-924365362.jpg
9.pdf = Untitled-1-924365360.jpg

I know this is WAYYYYY late and we've already solved everything, but I just realized something.....this could have been solved so much earlier.

The PDF files were the key. You arrange them in order of file number and put them next to their corresponding game title:

354 = 50 Cent Bulletproof 5
355 = 720 7
357 = Home Run H
358 = Chu Chu Rocket C
360 = Excite Bike E
362 = Tiger Heli T
364 = Prey P
366 = Operation Wolf O
368 = Pool Shark P

That comes out 57HCETPOP or as we all know it POPTECH75!! This was done back on page 14 or 15. I actually had it written on a piece of paper but never thought about looking at it backwards!

I think I'll go back to updating the poster thread Confused
