If somebody remembers, please ask there about why so much of this stuff isn't available anywhere but the L.A. area, or even online.

It's not online at all? That is surprising, but I would imagine LA is mostly due to the surge in pop-up shops that has hit there since "outdoor plazas" have been facing mass vacancy so those type of stores have been showing up in droves. They also might be testing out the concept for future movies. I swear this has to be one of the most merchandised films ever promoted since it's no longer just t-shirts and toys, it's designer clothing, jewelry, etc. and specality electronics.

That's another reason why I'm shocked by it. Yeah, we can get the toys in the Disney Store and Toys R Us anywhere in the country, but just about everything, even the clothes, is practically non-existent. If you're not in L.A. and you want good TRON swag, there are literally NO OPTIONS. What makes it even more bizarre, is that even if they started distributing to the rest of the country now, it'd already be too late to take full advantage of the Christmas season. Somebody has mismanaged this thing terribly.

Even crazier, employees in Orlando's WDW will scratch their head if you even ask about TRON. There is NOTHING TRON-related there AT ALL. Yet California gets, ElecTRONica, the pop-up store, AND Disneyland has a TRON upgrade pending.

There's kinda a running gag going on about the MCP blockading the transport beam that runs out of the Cali-Sector.

LOL..thats funny. It looks like he has blacked everyone else from this cool swag. I'm lucky to have picked up some of the stuff at disneyland, but everywhere else I havent really found anything that exciting. Just the hallmark ornament. Everything else I got was on ebay or from trading from here and Disneyland.. sucks for everyone else that can't join in on the hunt Sad

42E Breakfast...

everyone can rest assure that there is more to come in the next few weeks.

thats a promise from susan. she wouldnt budge on any clues, but she proudly stated: "there is alot more coming soon"...

she was very pleased on how creative and skillful everyone here has been.

in a nutshell in was a magical-mindblowing breakfast (and the food was great too).

Has anyone been able to get a lead on the flower and solar sailer pics? I KNOW they go together somehow.

I think they go together as the flower being inspiration for the ship just as the activities sam and kevin do together in the home vid are inspiration for the games he created for Tron

This is probably nothing and just an error, but I might as well post this anyhow... the reason the audio on the home vid caught my attention in the first place. Maybe, just maybe it'll mean something in a coming puzzle.

Does anyone else find that particularly weird for static? Especially since it doesn't coincide with scene changes in the video?

These are slightly rough, because there's a certain point with sound waves where it becomes nearly impossible to determine the precise moment at which a sound begins or ends (everything appears gradual if you look close enough). But this is about as good as it gets.

0:05.80 - 0:08.74

Duration is 2.94 seconds.

And the anomaly both begins and ends during the closeup of Sam riding the bike.

things are finally kicking back into gear! Can't wait for the next update/part of the game. IF I'm lucky I'll get the Tron Wii remote and Art of Tron Legacy book I pre-ordered really soon!

This is probably a nothing, but I thought I'd mess around with the levels due to the semi hints of blue, green and Hazel (blue-green), and well, it didn't reallt show anything conclusive (except a frame, but that was already present in the original image), but yeah, maybe it's missing some information or it's just a dead end. Anyway image:

It looks like it is 'fake static'. If it is in fact canned static and the editor needed to loop it and cross fade it, there would be a natural 3 dB drop in the audio waveform.

Remember, to create that video (which was shot digitally) they needed to put the vid through lots of video filters to make it look 20+ years old and crappy. The static is just a texture to add a sense of place and time to the whole scene.

Could they hide something in there? Oh, sure - but that waveform looks like canned static being looped.
