Someone should tag the outside of the Tron monorails.

I did at a local San Francisco bar that has a machine. I had been looking for a good use for those stickers FL sent out and thought it would be a fun nod to any other FL members that happen to go there.
I made sure to post it on here and mark it as OT to avoid anyone stumbling across it and thinking it was arg related.

I don't see it. But then, my screen is naturally fairly dark.

Good idea. I haven't done that, but I did add a few other 'legacy' enhancements.

No need to be secretive of it. It's at Buckshot, on Geary Blvd in the Inner Richmond. Pretty neat place, cheap beer and next to the Tron machine is Gauntlet and Toobin'!

I don't recommend putting stickers on establishments' game cabinets. You might ask permission to do so, and they might be happy to oblige - but if you don't its just vandalism to them. Chances are they have NO clue what these things are about.
Of course, silly me, wasn't hard to figure out where to put one of my stickers. Most of us have a car I imagine, and I've been keeping my eye out for anyone else with one of these things on it. None yet. Maybe someone will spot mine at some point.

I completely agree. In this case, the machine already had a bunch of graffiti on it, some of which I actually covered up with the sticker. If it was a cabinet in good shape I wouldn't dream of harming such a beauty!

As a collector of classic arcade cabs (working a deal on a TRON cab and hope to have one of my own VERY soon) my first reaction was "You need to call grift out for defacing a classic cab" but I really didn't feel like being a troll. Glad to see someone else brought up the subject.

Have no fear, if it was a cabinet in good shape I wouldn't sully it. I would've just put up a couple flynn lives flyers next to it. In this particular case, which socalsteve will be able to see when he makes a visit, this cabinet is in terrible shape. It's in a dive bar so I suppose that's par for the course. Specifically though, there's a ton of "tagging" and graffiti written all over it. Distressing of course, but not all that surprising given it's location.
The particular area I put the sticker on said "f**k (insert unreadable graffiti gibberish)" so in the end I'd say I improved things.
While we're on the topic of cabinet condition though, it should be noted that performance-wise it's in good shape. The joystick is a little loosey-goosey but didn't bother us too much during gameplay. While they don't seem to keep up on the external appearance of the game, it's nice that they at least keep the guts in good working order.
