Still trying to figure out where I'm going to see it in Chicago. I'm considering just biting the bullet and heading down to Navy Pier. Any other Chicago programs have plans yet?

Hopefully I can make it up to Downtown Disney for the midnight showing, I figured it would be sweeter to see it there, and then the next day in Culver City at the pop up shop they are giving away something for the first 300 people with ticket stubs. and off to elecTronica!!

My wife and I: Midnight Showing.
Sunrise, FL IMAX Sawgrass Mall Midnight Opening Night...
I'm getting my wife to wear the Encom guest badge, but that's it. I'll be decked out in my FL Encom Badge, Light Blue Glow-in-the-dark-tron shirt and all my FL pins! (Only 4- SP,89,FaceOff,and LightCycle, unless I can score the "other 2" Arcade Challenge pins I didn't get).
Yes, that's geeky enough to scare everyone away, but the Tron Movie influenced my entire career since I saw it at the premiere in '82 at age 16. (Yes, I've been a developer/architect since High School, and still doing it today...)
Hope the movie is a tremendous success!!!

Anyone here going to see the movie at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood at Midnight? I will be there. What cool about the El Capitan is they usually have props and costumes from the movies they show there's as the theatre is owned by Disney. Along with decorations and such in theme with the movie being shown.

I'm seeing the 3D Imax version at Universal Citiwalk and than probably checking out the El Capitan for the 2D version with the little ones (unless I get into the world premiere being held there earlier that week).

I was going to try and see if it will be playing at the Mann chinese theatre, because shows there opening night have always been fun, If I can't or they are not playing it I am likely going to universal as well.

Me and a friend are going to be seeing it in IMAX 3D at Tyson's Corner in Northern VA premiere night. Depending on how insane we think the line may be we will show up at either 9:30 or 10.

I'll be hitting the Council Bluffs, IA IMAX for the midnight show. Thinking of making an "END OF LINE" sign to have folks pass back as the line forms throughout the night.
