I can't even find times for that date in Dayton OH OR for Cincinnati. Nearest one is Kentucky. This bites.
EDIT: Had to go to the theater's specific website (Ravemotionpictures.com)
Looks like Rave's The Greene in Beavercreek, OH midnight for the IMAX 3D version.

The tickets aren't available yet. I'll update this post when they are.
If you get tickets to the Edwards in Mira Mesa, my roomate and I can take you(thats if you dont have a car)... since I know El Cajon won't be the best screen to see Tron on. I live in El Cajon and I hate going to Regal..lol

I would love to meet-up with some of you. I don't know what theater I'm gonna be at, but is anyone in northern Jersey? If anything's going down in New York, I'm gonna be there, though

Phazen, the El Capitan I am pretty sure they will be showing Tron Legacy in Disney 3D ( which is actually Real D)....
ok. Why people in California near Hollywood/West Los Angeles should consider going to see Tron Legacy at El Capitan theater:
1) the movie is being shown in "Disney 3-D" (RealD) with state-of-the-art digital projectors. Booming state-of-the-art 3-D Sound system.
2) VIP ticket you will get reserved seating and bucket of popcorn (the bucket will have printed images from the movie and can be kept as a collector's item as supplies last) plus 1 drink of your choice.
3) A stunning laser light show before the movie!
4) Various Props and Costumes from the movie on display to take photos of.

lunasa- I'm in NYC and going to AMC at 68th street in manhattan. You're welcome to join if interested.
:(My wife won't be able to come opening night because her job lets her out at 10:30 and she works in Staten Island, so I'm really hoping someone will keep me company.

I'll be the big 6'4" guy in a Flynn Lives tshirt hopefully not too far from the front of the line. My plan: Race in, grab seats, then worry about popcorn and stuff.

They actually have both 2d and 3d showings depending on the times, the reason I'm not going to that one first is the screen is not a true IMAX screen and I'd prefer to see it on Imax (plus the theater kind of smells at the El Cap. and tickets are more expensive there because of the reserved seating.) And the Universal Citywalk Imax screen and sound system blow the Disney one away (they just spent a year remodeling the Citywalk AMC and upgrading it to the highest state of the art sound system). I've been to several premiere events at both places and prefer the Citywalk one, the only kewl thing about the El Cap is the light show and the props which I'll see at a later date.
I had some Press friends that saw the FINAL version of Tron Legacy last night in LA for the Press Junket and they said it was way better than they thought it would be and that the score made the entire movie 10 times better! They also said there was a major twist but I told them not to tell me what it was.

Not sure. Lots of these places won't even let you in the door until a couple hours before opening. I figure I'll try for 6:00 or 7:00. Think you can pull that off? For things like this they get decidedly unfriendly about people coming later. If you need to meet later, I can do that too.
