you'd think they'd have made them unisex Sad

Xbox and PC players will not be able to play together. There have only been a couple games that could do that, and it didn't go over too well. The control schemes have inherent limitations that make thing too uneven.

Check this dev diary on Sony Playstation.Blog:
http://tinyurl.com/2upnpxq

You see Anon talking to the ISO Ophelia (from the Betrayal Graphic Novel, TRON logo (4 dots in T formation) as orbs in multiplayer, Move capable, 3D capable, driving tanks.

Btw, I think the guy in that video is the same guy that walked me through playing it at SDCC...

I did some digging and found out that while Gamestop gets Quorra with pre-orders Walmart gets Clu for online play. I gotta imagine that they are just pre-unlock codes for content on the disc right?

/Edit

And after some more digging I found this video showing the amazing voice actors we look forward to hearing from in the game.

Not a good start for the reviews:
http://games.on.net/article/10863/2_Minute_Review_-_Tron_Evolution_PS3

Shame, as I really wanted to get this - but it just seems like it might be another nightmare of a movie tie-in. Doesn't matter how cool the light cycles look, if you can't control them....

A few other reviews have it around the 5 out of 10 mark so it may be a rental or game swap rather than a new purchase.

That is just some short draft on a lackluster page with zero video's. For all I know that "reviewer" could be really bad at video games.

I actually played an early build of the game at NYCC and really liked it. Granted, I am a TRON junkie, but aren't we all?

Anyone getting Tron: Evolution Battle Grids on the Wii? Light Cycles are pretty fun on it. You guys should pre-order it. Wink

Here's some better reviews:

Overall, sounds like this is gonna be just as fun and awesome as I had hoped, after all!

Just got my XBOX today. Will pick up Evolution as soon as it becomes available. Problem is, I can't connect to XBOX Live. Something with my network seems a bit off. At least I have a little time to diagnose it.

A little OT but I just picked up a copy of TRON 2.0 Killer App for the original XBox and started playing through it. The graphics are pretty rough but the gameplay isn't too bad. Lots of cool little easter eggs.

I'm really struggling with the choice to pick up this game. I want it because it is Tron, but honestly after watching some of the game play videos, it looks like it will be very frustrating to play.
I wish they would release a demo so I can try it before dumping $60 on it.

I'm with you on this point.

I may just rent it and see. I don't have luxurious amounts of time to be playing games, so I want to know if I'll really like it before committing...plus I haven't finished New Vegas, and just got Red Dead Redemption when it was on sale Friday... so I may be getting it a Tron later than all of you anyway Razz

Guys, I watched the 6 part playthrough (just for the cutscenes), and I can tell you, that just by watching it, to AVOID IT.

Read TRON: Betrayal instead. This game is a movie game disguised as a standalone action/adventure.
