The "IC" that's on the wall could just as easily be the number 40, or 4G, etc... I think we shouldn't assume just because IC is on our minds.

it looked like either a marking done by a construction crew, or graffiti to me, and it looked like it said '40'.. Just my 2cts...

Different things (see attached picture):

1) Some sort of metal girder, or "I" beam.

2) White "head" in profile looking upwards

3) "IC", "40", "4G", "HG", "HO"...... Looks like 40 to me...

4) darker section of whatever material that is back there... I still can't figure out exactly what that wall is.

5) A darker row of bricks/blocks. Plus a weird "face" on the wall.... probably just coincidental.

6) The top of the unidentified man in the background.

7) A pattern on Avery's shirt... does it look familiar at all? Probably nothing important.

I'm betting he's at a hotel and that's the sign telling you where to get ICE.

It looks hand written to me. So I doubt it is a hotel.

At the same time, if it is a hotel, it looks like a pretty $hitty hotel, so who knows!

[WILD SPEC]
Back on the tapestry: could it be something that you'd have to print out and fold in a certain way to get a message, sorta like a Mad-magazine fold in cartoon? Can't print here so... Sad [/]

Ok, this is kind of weird...

In photoshop, I did a filter - Distort -> Polar Coordinates -> Rectangular to polar on our tapestry.jpg.

It resulted in this image. I don't know if it means anything, but it's kinda cool looking, isn't it?

(this has to be more than coincidence, doesn't it?)

The Tapestry image is a seamless design. It can be off set both horizontally and vertically and it still matches up. See the image attached.

wow... where can I get that screen printed onto a t-shirt? Wink

co-incidence to what, bakntime? the only thing it reminds me of is the trippy "Zion Archives" in the animatrix (2nd renaissance)?

[EDIT] or "metriculated", but that was just phsychadelic on a "yellow submarine" level...
Cool

And styles... my eyes hurt just trying to see how you rotated it there...

Great spot though. So what does that tell us? Are there any other significant shapes we can do this to?

I'm almost certain that the message in this picture (and are we all willing to bet that there is one? Why put something like htis up if there isn't) is hidden in the fact tha this is not just a pattern of 6 shapes. There are definite oddities to this, such as misplaced pixels, things that don't exactly line up, etc.

Definitely a brain-buster...

Have I been staring too long?

1st post after a week or two of lurking - Great game!

Now, is it just me, or is the face shot for 'heismissing' a crop of 1.jpg from Dimitri.zip? If not, I think I need to go have a lie down. If so, 2 things come to mind:

Why is the 'heismissing' shot less fuzzy than the 1.jpg, when it appears to be a more complete picture?
From what I can work out heismissing.info appeared right back at the start of the game, similar to the time when the 'eye see' paintover pic was posted. Speculation here, but this could give credence to the idea that 'IC' is in the background and that the weird 'skeleton' head shape is overlayed onto 3.jpg deliberately? And is Dimitri therefore behind (or related to) heismissing.info and sheismissing.info?

OMG! I think I've almost solved the Tapestry file! This is incredibly complex, but I'm getting words here...

I'll post a solution in ~20 minutes, if this all works...
