Unless ark is figurative and not meant to be a direct reference to the floods, etc.

Doesn't it also mean just an important thing to put important stuff in (in lehman's terms, ofc)?

Oh, I see what you mean now. I can understand that view, like how there was a stream nearby their scouting location? Actually, I remember when they pointed the camera towards it the audio took a different pitch of distortion.

Well that just leads to the ever-present question of...
WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

Well, there's always the possibility of it being a purposeful red-herring to throw particularly clever detectives such as my self off the trail.

HOWEVER I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THIS.

I never got into the talking about the series and stuff when it first came out and I was eagerly watching it from the beginning.

I have missed out. I just started getting into this and dono anyone really but wow this is fun to read all the theories etc. Super fun!

So one thing I'm wondering is, will we see more of tim? Tim as himself, like in the interview. He seemed drawn back and afraid to talk or at least to me he did.

I wonder if he'll be in this without him being masky(not saying he is or isnt masky, just I'd like to see more of him as not masky if he is in fact masky)

Yeah I noticed his expression at the water too. I'm pretty sure it's cuz he recognized the correlation between water and crap happening. He must've also been frustrated and was like "I'm thirsty, but I don't know who drank out of this before. Should I risk it?"

I think Dray mentioned this too, but his pissed expression probably came from the fact that he was going somewhere, and nowhere at the same time, and was trying to comprehend things.

That face is the face I usually made when I got lost at the mall. Confused

P.S. once again I'd like to stress that this is a non-comedy version of The Hangover

Here's a photo of 'Slender Man' at 6:05. Is anybody else seeing him, or just me? (I hope it works too...)

Just you. I don't think he's in this video at all. (Which for the record I appreciate.)

Kay, so, I gotta say, I refreshed the forum and noticed several new pages and was like OMG YAY SOMETHING ELSE GOT POSTED, only to be horrifically disappointed when I read through all five pages of new posts and discovered that it was all drama started by some dude with a dog icon.

Really? I mean I could restate what's already been said to you, especially the "douche" part, but some of the things you said and the attitude you took made it seem as though you were personally offended that the creators didn't live up to your standards with this video. Yeah, I'm sure they're crying themselves to sleep tonight with this knowledge in mind. Get over it. If you like it, watch it. If you don't, don't. Don't sit here and bitch and moan about how EVERYTHING SUCKS OMGGG THIS ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS THAT ARE BETTAR, LIKE OMG. Go off and play with the other better things then, if that's how you feel. Don't piss in everyone's cornflakes.

Okay. I've been patient. I've been gracious. I have politely asked my questions, and directed no animosity at anyone on this forum. For my pains at expressing a genuine concern and border-line outrage at the shameless pandering this video involves, I received animosity anyway. So congratulations, you have finally succeeded in making me drop civility.

Here's the deal: You either disprove my points, or you can keep your wise-ass comments to yourself. I've asked someone to explain the significance, what I'm possibly missing about this video to me half a dozen times now, and yet all I've received are insults from multiple random people I've never spoken two words to, or excuses and defenses of brilliant men who don't need your defense. I've heard a great deal of "it could be worse", without very much "here's why it's better". With the exception of Dray, someone I generally respect and JkatKina, nobody has bothered to try and refute me, but merely berate me for not ascribing to the popular view. Did I accidentally stumble into X-box live, or God Forbid, 4-chan? You don't like what I have to say, fine. But you want to call me a douchebag for being pissed that the premier series just wasted it's season opener pantomiming a bad hangover, then perhaps you need to re-explore whether you follow this series because it's actually good, or because of some sort of slavish devotion that you've built up over time. I can see that there is no further fruit in following this post, or this game. I can understand disagreement, but the out right ad-hominem attacks because I don't like the video? Grow up.

I have been developing a better opinion of humanity as of late, with some small part of that in thanks to the general creativity of this forum. I must thank you, all of you, who have taken it upon yourselves to heap hatred and bile at me for expressing my distaste. You've shattered that opinion and reminded me why I used to refrain from speaking up on these forums or speaking up in general, really. I'll just go and sit in my corner now and leave you all to your fun.

...any-who, I don't think that's the Operator, but a good eye you have nonetheless.

Man, didn't we drop that shit like, a page ago? Forgive the new guy if he decides to comment. Everyone's entitled to their input, just like you. And, from where I'm standing, Dray and Jkatkina already tore into your claims.

I just read a little while ago that this Entry 27 was reminiscent of the Introduction. Perhaps that's the direction they took.

You spent so long writing a long-winded reply to that person's first post that you haven't had the chance to read all of the potential new things that have come up since everyone but that new person forgot about you.

Jay looking at the water with such fright? Might be significant. Introduction of harness cam? Clearly significant. New location? Significant. Pills? Significant. Twitter hacked? Significant.

Coded, I don't see him, even though there's a red outline. Just some tree branches!

In relation to water being significant, there was a conversation about #17, when Tim starts drinking; the camera was functioning fine beforehand, but once he drank, everything really began to freeze up.

On the other hand, the dry streambed during the location scouting was what caused distortion, so that seems about the opposite.

I really think that we don't have anything specific to ground our curiosity about water in right now. Remember the creepy pipes in the Operator's basement, too? Some people have suggested that he uses water somehow to transport or conduct himself... but that seems like a weak conclusion, to me.

I do have to wonder, if water is important to the Operator, how would snow factor in? (It being a million degrees below zero, with a couple of feet of snow on the ground and more to come...) It would be neat to do a short!short to play around with this idea, though I can't think of anything that would be significant to actually watch!

About the phone, I didn't catch that either, but it could be important. It probably is. If Jay was getting calls, wouldn't he have been getting them on his cell, though? Could the phone being off the hook somehow indicate that he received a call and dropped the phone in the middle of whatever was happening, rather than that he purposefully removed it from the cradle?

*facepalm*

Listen, Gentleman Caller, people are going to be douchebags (ironically). Letting them get to you so bad that you leave the discussion forevars is... well, I gotta say it, it's silly. And really, pulling out declarations that we've shattered your faith in humanity is melodramatic.

I understand peoples' frustrations with finding a post that basically tears down something they've really enjoyed. It actually tweaked my nose pretty hard too. But I also understand that having them come back at you with their raeg-faces and lots of douche-whatsits must have been pretty shitty. I respect that you haven't insulted anyone on this forum back; as you can tell from other peoples' reactions, that takes a big person to do. I may disagree with you pretty hardcore in regards to your take on Entry 27, but you're articulate and apparently thoughtful, and I suspect the forum would benefit if you could find your way to growing a thicker skin and sticking around.

Everyone else, just fuckin' drop it. The guy disagreed vehemently, debate was had, no conclusion was made, just leave it alone. This'll be my last on the topic too.
