Also, double-post ftw: tearing into claims isn't the same as yelling at people without having something to back it up. GC wasn't attacking anyone here, which is an important distinction to make. His raeg!post reminded me a lot of Fiasco, which is part of why I was yelling back at him (always did have a beef with someone who's only posts were "THAT SUCKSSSSS!" and then they would come back and start it over again with each new entry...)

But GC doesn't deserve to get called a douche and the like. :\ I think that, just as it's too early to hate on the series, it's too early to be patting each other's asses for being douche-rags to haters.

GC, if you're done, that's your decision; on behalf of myself only (don't want to speak for everyone else) I'd like to ask for you to stay. Having someone who has intelligent things to say is worth a dozen people making happy but pointless posts.

But, I like the idea of him taking the phone off the hook so as to deter some pestering caller.

And on the subject of GC, I honestly hope he wasn't offended by my name-calling. I think I was trying to come off as funny there, since it was in direct opposition with what he was asking in the post I quoted, even though I agreed with it.

Yeah, I didn't mean to suggest that the water had any supernatural/Operator connection. I just remember water appearing in places Tim had been (when he drinks in #17, the closet in #16 that looks like he might have squatted there, the empty water bottle near the red tower where someone (probably Tim) left the tape for entry #22, etc).

GC, dude, I've seen your posts around the forum. I know you're a good dude. I personally don't want to attack you, and I'm sure it's the same for everyone else. I just felt that the way you went about it was the equivalent of a child throwing a tantrum. That was it.

You have rights to be skeptical. Hell, I am too, my first thought at the 7 month memory gap was "Yeah, these guys are totally jumping the shark". And yeah, nothing of significance happened, but in a way, I didn't really expect it to. I DID expect a recap of some kinda, maybe a taste of Jay's adventures, but what I got was another mystery. Yeah, not what I expected.

When life gives you lemons, throw it back and ask for limes for your Captain's with Coke. I'm guessing there's a lot of shit that went down between now and last April, and I'm ready to sit back with that Captains and try and figure this out.

Is there a file or something up for download somewhere that strings all of season 1's entrys and replys together kinda like a movie? I haven't watched anything MH in a while and want to refresh my memory. watching them all over on youtube isn't an option since I have no sound on this computer.

One thing I just thought of: there are multiple cameras that Jay has now. The camera that can be strapped to his chest, and the regular handheld camera that we see resting on the tripod. This means that Jay's unreliable narrator-ness can be pushed even further, since when he's compiling footage for a video he has at least two cameras to choose from, so he can determine the view point by which the audience sees the events unfold.

I know he had multiple cameras for Entry #24, but it seems like now it can be more pronounced. The viewpoint from a camera strapped to someone's chest is very different than that of a handheld camera's viewpoint, since there's more range of motion with the handheld camera, versus the stationary chest camera that can only turn and take more in if the person moves their entire torso.
