-Footage starts out from the chest camera
-Screen blank except for a sliver of light in the bottom left corner, probably the curtains.
-Two tones can be heard alternating in the background. This is the TV.

-Get a nice full view of the room from the chest camera point of view.
-To the left, is the window.
-In the Middle, is an open laptop.
-To the right, is a TV blinking on and off.

Notes, Speculation and Points of Interest:

-I find it intriguing that the laptop is open and powered on. This is because I always turn my laptop off before going to sleep. I would assume others do the same thing, but I may be wrong. Assuming Jay does the same as I, then it would make sense that the computer was intentionally left on to draw attention to it.

-Since less than a minute has passed since the alarm was turned off, it was set for 8:31

-At 0:56-1:01 Jay appears to be trying to get his bearings. Probably wondering where he was. He then looked out the window to see if he reconized anything

-The TV was behaving oddly, there might be an entry relating to this later.

-Anyone have any guesses on what the sound at 1:25 may be? I am guessing it is the phone being taken off the receiver.

-The sound at 1:27 is similar to the one created when he stands back up, thus making me think it is the chest camera shifting.

-Is it just me or does it seem Jay is left handed?

-I did not see any pills next to the keys or room card. The sound being heard at 1:58 is the keys.

-What is that red thing on his keys anyway?

-If you doubt that is Jay's car at 3:26 you get an interior view at 3:47 looking at stand area by the gorge.

-There is 3-4 seconds of blank footage at the beginning and end of the footage. (4 beginning and 3 at the end).

-Is the audio distortion feedback on the mic?

-Jay was sleeping fully clothed. Shoes included.

Yeah, it looked legitimately broken. It made the loud POP every time it on/offed, as if someone was actively clicking the remote power button repeatedly. Until he shut it off for good. Something was seriously fucked with that TV.

It reminds me of the technical difficulties Jay's camera had from Entry #23.

That bumping, the first thing you hear when the video starts, lasts all the way until Jay pushes the button on the TV. It's the sound those old TV's make when they turn on, and off. One "bump" is a different tone than the other. Listen to it like this: On-OFF, on-OFF, on-OFF

I don't post much, but I have to say... Can an admin / mod delete all of those off topic and insulting posts in this thread? It's EXTREMELY insulting to the creators of MH to come by here and see that we have been taken over by mind numbingly de-evolved remains of what used to be humans.

Back on topic, I think this entry was pretty sweet. It had the hook to lure us all in again. This was a perfect narrative setup by Jay to not only explain the absence of his character, but to also set up the continuation of the series (if that's what they plan to do, and lord knows I'm hoping they continue season 2)
