 		Automatically falling sleep, going into hibernation, and the screensaver can be disabled rather easily, I have done so with one of my laptops that I do computations on.

I feel that it may have been left on to draw Jay's attention to it. Or, you know, it was an oversight by the MH crew.

By and by, I addressed it in my big long post that apparently no one will ever read.

That thought crossed my mind. If the Operator was there before he woke up it should have been caught on the tape. Entry #28 should tell us if the Operator was there as Jay will probably search through any recent footage in either of the cameras or on the laptop.


My thoughts exactly. Methinks Entry #28 is going to be pretty neat. Maybe something entry #1-esque, but longer, considering this "introduction" was very much like the first intro, but longer.

I sort of figured the ominous thumping is what woke Jay up, but that could too. The whole thing just reeks of TTA's doing, though. Unless Slendy's presence wakes up computers, I think maybe Jay was canoodling with TTA and just can't remember.
Throwing it out there; TTA/Masky/Tim/whoever was working with Jay for whatever reason (assuming TTA/Masky/Tim/whoever is not, in fact, on Slendy's side), explaining why TTA never logged on but MH did. TTA wouldn't have needed to log on. Shit went down, but Jay lost his memory and TTA did not so TTA hightails it outta there for some reason. Maybe the things on the MH twitter were left for Jay to find and figure things out. The 23rd seems to be when TTA woke Jay up, assuming the banging was him. Hence the "Wake Up" picture?

Ah, whenever I write these things down, they don't seem as epic as they did in my head. Or as comprehensible.

 		Makdee, I am impressed by your thoroughness! That's perfect for the wiki, and a good place to point people who may have missed stuff in the video...

In any case, I think you might be right about the 'audio distortion' being feedback from the mic. It's not for sure, and we shouldn't totally discount the idea of audio distortion pointing out something important (as the MH guys tend to do), especially since it happens when Jay faces the mirror. (Unless we're talking about different noises here!)

IvanMesniaa, I have a strong suspicion we will be seeing more of Tim in this season. :3

Mops, I think what probably woke Jay up was his alarm clock. XD That big nasty noise at the beginning. That suggests to me that the TV could have been doing its creepy thing for some time, if the noise wasn't enough to wake our intrepid amnesiac up at first... lookin' forward to hopefully some awesome footage next entry. Very Happy

 		Given how most discoveries turn out to be quite normal, I'm going to stand by my belief that there is nothing untoward in this video that can be explained by slendy.
He's not present and this video is just getting us back into the game.

anyways, my impression of 27 was that it was just to freshen our paranoia sensors and get us hyped for what's to come.

i think we'll be starting off the second season a bit slowly, j will probably try to figure out where he is and how he got there, and we're probably going to see footage from the chestcam.

either than or slondormon will pop up in 28 and we'll all flip a bitch.
or instead of entry 28 we'll get a TTA response and we'll all flip a bitch.

think about it: when you wake up things are kind of blurry and unfocused for a moment.

maybe it's there to show us that jay just stopped being in a slenderstupor.

Back on topic, I think this entry was pretty sweet. It had the hook to lure us all in again. This was a perfect narrative setup by Jay to not only explain the absence of his character, but to also set up the continuation of the series (if that's what they plan to do, and lord knows I'm hoping they continue season 2)
