Come ooonnnnnn Entry 28~

I wonder what Jay means by possible leads, though. Looks like he's been trying to keep pro-active since he posted 27, which is a step forward from barricading himself at home.

Im conveniently new!

So my friend introduced me to good ol' slendy yesterday and since then I had to find out more about him. Which lead me to discovering Marble Hornets. I was blown away (and genuinely creeped the hell out). I think its a great series and im so glad to be along for the ride.

The only thing is I kinda feel bad. I discovered all of this yesterday and was able to avoid the huge gap without any videos like the real fans had to withstand D:

lol Anthony that is very lucky!

Don't worry, you'll get your comuppence. Think of it, you've had MH Entry after Entry, all at your fingertips - now you have to wait along with the rest of us. At least we're used to it!

Muhahaha!

Good to have you on board.

Hey guys, I'm back after a long hiatus! Just got caught up on the new Entries.

I dunno if this has been posted yet, but I know where the dam seen in Entry #27 is located. Funny story, I discovered it on an old home video from my grandparents, which led me and a friend to want to involve it in an ARG somehow.

I went ape-shit when I saw it in Entry #27, literally from the same angle and in the same spot my grandfather filmed it from in 1991.

Pointless Speculation?
Hearing Noises

I truly apologize if this has already been said here. I sort of missed this thread because I was having issues registering an account, but I was just re-watching 27 and 28 with headphones on, and came across something to possibly look into:

At the beginning of 27, Jay gets out of bed after turning off the Most Obnoxious Alarm Ever™ and approaches the TV as it's making the heartbeat sound. Now, whether or not it's the TV turning on and off (I doubt this, considering the TV, despite being CRT, doesn't look that old) or the TV is playing something, he clearly turns it off at 00:49 (even though another flicker of the TV comes up after the sound stops...).

However, right after that, we switch to the tripod camera and see Jay. Clearly this footage is synced with the chest camera, as the TV is already off and the motion (Jay sitting down) is continuous.

That said, did anyone else notice that the heartbeat (or something very similar) persists from about 00:54 to 01:03 (it's only in the right channel, from what I can hear)?

I'm feeling this might be somewhat significant, especially keeping in mind the sounds from the end of #28 (sorry if this should go there instead, I wasn't sure which thread it was more relevant to). Although there is a lot more distortion, a few of those 'clicks' have the same tone and (for lack of a better word) 'bite' that the clicks do in Entry #27. Maybe those sounds are coming from the same place (Jessica's room)?

Again, sorry if this is just rehashing something that's already been said. I tried searching through this thread to see if it came up, but didn't come upon anything from what I could tell. I hope my theory-positing isn't too dry and inconsequential.

Nice catch.

The only thing that comes to mind is that perhaps Jessica's television was doing the exact same thing in Entry 27. Which may mean that the television rhythm is a sort of "WAKE up" call. "WAKE up" meaning forgetting everything that happened over the last 7 months and start filming again.

Apologies if this has been noted here or elsewhere already - I've looked through most of this thread and couldn't find anything, nor is there any mention of this on the wiki or any of the later threads I've browsed through.

I was going back over the Entries one by one, I don't think I watched this one in full the first time through, at least not too closely because it seemed rather uneventful.

When J films outside his window at about 6:00 and pans across the pool, I'm pretty sure that we see the Operator is standing just right of the pool house to the left of the tree. J then pans back in that direction briefly before scanning the treeline.

The presence of the Operator at a distance might explain the sudden blurriness at 5:24, although I am not certain as the Operator does not always cause distortion when he is nearby.

Anyway sorry if this has been mentioned, I honestly did try to find out if there's an agreed on Operator sighting in this entry, or if its been disproved. I find this series extremely interesting and I do believe I'm hooked.

I think that one was brought up -- I remember seeing it way back when the entry first came out -- but I couldn't point you to exactly where. I think the general consensus was that that particular sighting was too subtle to actually be the Operator; the MH guys generally make sure we know that we're seeing him when they put him on screen. Also, if the distortion to which you refer appears to just be the camera re-focusing after Jay walks into its field of view.

Good sleuthing, though! Welcome to the forum!
