Meanwhile, I had an awesome idea for a Slenderman Backstory including alternate dimensions, a beautiful princess, and humans being a plague upon the land that is supposed to kill Slendy's kind. Ah, me and my random stories. Perhaps I shall draw some of it for you good people.

After Entry 35.

I do like this idea very much.

So I was watching TribeTwelve for the first time after getting my Entry 35 fix, and something hit me. I haven't been afraid of Slenderman or the Operator since..forever! Marble Hornets has moved so far away from our original slim foe. TribeTwelve's prominence of Slendy reminded me of why I watched Marble Hornets in the first place.

I'm not even scared when I watch Marble Hornets anymore. There's a problem with that. Sure, there are a few jumps here and there (yes, I jumped when Masky flew from in front of Jay in Entry 35), but it's not nightmare fuel. When I saw Slenderman in TribeTwelve again, a deep fear arose in me that I hadn't felt in a long time. It was a familiar one, though distant and almost nostalgic.

Marble Hornets, now that it's done (sorta) with Masky, needs to step away from the characters for a minute because right now it seems MH is about plot development and characters, and while that's nice, I'm just not afraid anymore.

Anyone feel the same? Like, I really love hte plot development and how much more real the characters are, but they need to get back into the Operator and start freaking me the heck out. :p

Just wait until he makes his glorious return. It'll horrify you because you don't really know when he's coming back at this point. I agree it's moved away, but at the moment I'm okay with that. I like the plot.

On a random note, am I the only person here that can't stand TribeTwelve? I got a few episodes into it and I just couldn't bear to watch it anymore. It bored me and the acting really needed work. idk that's just what I think.

I dunno, the acting seems decent at least, and over all the series manages to have some pretty creepy moments, at least to me. And it's not hard to follow like EMH can be *shot*

and plus Noah is kinda adorable

The acting is terrible judging by the first video. I mean I know they're not actors obviously so I don't hold them to really high standards, but it's like they've never felt feelings or had conversations before haha. I'm willing to ignore that if the videos are at least creepy, though.

EMH is pretty damn hard to follow, but I actually really like it. Mainly because the characters they've developed seem extremely real and FUCK EPISODE 6 SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME AND WHERE THE HELL DID THE RAKE COME FROM

Plus the addition of HABIT is great to get fans involved and make it more of an ARG instead of an Alternate Reality Movie.

I dunno. Maybe I should give TT another shot?

I got to the episode where he finally "notices" the man in the videos. I was very angry at that point and stopped watching. Also, I always remember his friend as not wearing shoes, and that bothers me somehow.

I MAY be posting MH fanart at some point. I started something, but I need to psyche myself up to go into my workspace. Before I get too warm of course. I get too warm, my workspace turns freezing.
