Come to think of it, I haven't actually seen my dog with the brick I used...
And if it really was my dogs that dug mine up, I'm sure that they would have already torn it up. I don't know why they would have dug there though, the ground was untouched when I dug there.

JediFox, that is pretty creepy. The footprints... if it wasn't for the way they spread out, like someone walking, I'd say they were from a rabbit. As it is, I can't be sure. Maybe I can ask my uncle to take a look at the photo, he's like super wildlife man, he might be able to decipher them.

Okay guys, pardon the interruption, but....*Shudders* Consider me in the "Creeped-the-hell-out," category, now. Here's a few pictures:

A field and some snow. That's the same field that I went to bury my object and mark my grave. That's the same plant I buried my item under. My grave is gone. I went to check today, after reports of a few other rabbits saying their markers were missing...and there it is. Or rather, isn't. I don't know if you guys could tell from my video (it was dark and shit, sorry), but my marker was about an inch-thick stick the size of my forearm. I buried it in about 1/3 to half way down; made sure it wouldn't go anywhere from being blown around or whatnot, then buried it into the sand to anchor it.

Someone -- or some THING -- would have had to physically be there, pick it up, and move it away.

Check the third picture; I moved the snow around, checking around the bush. No marker. No anything. I wasn't going to try to dig up the item; frankly, I didn't want to. But wait, there's more: judging from how the scene was when I got there, and the fact that it wasn't underneath the snow, I'm pretty sure that who-or-what-ever did this, it happened before the snow fell. I buried my item on Wednesday night; the snow came late Friday night.

Two more notes of interest: While there weren't any tracks in the snow that went to where my grave was, several got close. Some human, some animal...but one I didn't really recognize. It looked like canine tracks, only a lot more elongated, almost like a small human's foot with the way it was pressed in the snow. May just be my paranoia hitting me at this point, but I don't want to leave anything out.

And, the icing on the goddamn cake, the entire time I was there, I felt like I was being watched. Creepy shit, guys. Creepy shit.

~RABBIT#136, signing out.

This is starting to genuinely creep me out. Is there anyone who has gone back to check on their item, and NOT found it gone?

Weeird o.O. I'm going to go check mine tomorrow after class, to make sure it's still there and to make sure it wasn't damaged somehow by the rain (and I'll probably go bury it even deeper; didn't have much time to bury it yesterday). If it's missing I'll post, if it's not missing I won't, and if I'm missing, I guess I won't post, either =P

I managed to get the pictures sorted admist having a nervous breakdown with the kid. One wants constant feeding, the other has taken to shouting to keep herself awake. Not good when you're trying to concentrate on something. Now I'm going to take myself and the growling baby to bed, it's way past her bed time and she's keeping the neighbours kids awake with her shouting. Luckily it's my boyfriends night shift with the Rakebaby.

@JediFox:: if i wasn't creeped out about this HABIT thing enough, i am now.

-----
oh and i also have a a story of non-significance to share::

in English class, we write down "roots" from the board each day
example: mem = to remember so Memory, memo ect.

Todays Definition:

Hab/Hib: Means to Hold
Examples: Exibit,Habitat, HABIT, prohibit

... i nearly dropped my pencil

and then when i was walking out of class, i noticed something on a poster on the wall
it said "He Made Me Do It".
i stood there freaked out for a few minutes, gathered my thoughts, and then walked out.

it. was.so. creepy.
i was thinking about it all day and it it still freaks me out

Wow, that's actually really creepy. I'm sure it's just a coincidence, but still. I don't intend on going back to check on my book (as it's a ten minute walk and it's 20 degrees outside), but if it is gone because I didn't bury it deep enough I hope somebody at least found it readable!

I kinda want to go check my site now as well. Though to be honest, it's probably gone because my marker was kind of conspicuous and I think I should have buried my object deeper.

You don't have my video on there.

So to allieviate your worries I went out to the field I buried my necklace in. Unfortunately the field is all sand and dead grass so I can't tell one section from another, and my marker is about an inch tall so it's hard to see in the dark. I'll go look again tomorrow.
