Maybe the rabbit lurks xkcd and so recognized your username when you first posted here. Maybe, when you mentioned recognizing the rabbit, the rabbit got curious and searched your posts on xkcd, discovering your first name and that you go to the same college. Then maybe the rabbit used the student directory to find the right person with your name and email address, and had a laugh about you living just down the hall. Maybe the rabbit was the one who suggested pranks to be played on himself, and has been waiting impatiently for his bag. So maybe the rabbit disposed of some expired painkillers, knowing that anybody who follows EMH saw MH too.
Or maybe not. Who knows? Wink

but yes that does sound like the probable time he put up the new trial, or maybe later after finals and what not (I assume that most of the real life EMH crew are still in college.)
