The massive load of Slenderblogs is getting annoying.

I the long run the Core Theory might add to the mythos.

Think about it:

"Remember that time tons of Slender-haunted people thought they could win? When they banded together for the greater good?"

"Oh no, what happened to them? Very Happy"

"They got it all wrong, every damn thing."

I think Core Theory is going to be more remember for the time a bunch of confusing jumble of comment trolls started using similar mystical phrases rather than their own unique made up ones to troll other Slenderman blogs.

I hate to say but I've pretty much stopped reading any blogs all together. I guess with the giant influx and the lack of real innovation (innovation that can keep up interest at the same time) I find that EMH and, in a pinch, TT are the only things of interest in the community right now. Well, those and MH2 obviously. And TT's on its way out so that'll just leave EMH and MH2 vying for the hot seat.

And this is why I stick to EMH and MH. Voice powers? really?

Not to mention the core theory/hollowing isn't really my cup of tea.

Again, one blog does not represent all blogs.

Correction

I thought it was made pretty clear that Nessa of Enter Light wasn't actually dehallowed, that was just a trick to Mood Whiplash Zero into Heroic BSOD again. If you go back and read the post from "Redlight," he says that she was just wandering around the back alleys of her town, posting delirious crap from her laptop. Makes more sense than, as Zero said, bringing someone back from the brink with text alone.

By the way, Fizzbomb from Para-Not-So-Normal has got her now and is apparently attempting to bring her back with kind words and hot cocoa. We'll see how that goes.

RE:Para Not-So-Normal

As for Para Not-So-Normal: I had actually intended to reveal Isabel's cowboy, balls-to-the-wall bravado was just that--false bravery--a lot earlier, but things started snowballing faster than I could control and I had to run with it. Zero's blog post and the entire ARG's distancing itself from the Core Theory let me make that author's saving throw and point out that Fizzbomb was never supposed to be something out of Black Lagoon.

Nessa's situation is another sticky one, one I'm working closely with her player to realistically resolve. So, I guess this a combination of "I had it planned from the 23rd" and "Retconned", really, because things got out of hand and I really needed to salvage the blog's credibility.

I feel like if everyone would just chill out with the blogs/vlogs for awhile, it would really help. There's so much going on that I don't know how you could expect anyone to keep up with what you're doing. I keep up with EMH the most then MH and TT and a few Slenderblogs. Half the time I read one all the way through and forget about it a week later.
I had an idea for one, but it's no where near good enough to compete. And with the state of the mass amount of Slenderblogs/vlogs they have to be great to work.

Hate to play the killjoy here, but as long as the blogs are still active, would the PM's please stop posting here? The 4th wall called me, it's pretty annoyed by constantly being broken down Wink

I can totally understand the urge to eyplain yourselves, 123 and fizzbomb, but please answer questions and explain your decisions after your stories are told, oaky?

Holy crap, it sounds like people latched on to things and really screwed the pooch with them. D: I should never have posted that Hero's Journey crap; I probably should have known that people would take it literally and run with that. *facepalm* I'm sorry, folks. (As for Core Theory, is that all that that is about? I haven't been checking this forum frequently so there are a bunch of new terms that I am unfamiliar with.)

That said, I haven't had time to keep up with Slenderblogs, as of late! I was better able to when I was in school and could skim the forums every hour or so because I had a computer on hand all the time.

I feel like, these days, the only way to keep up with the forums is to have access to the forum all the time. Those who are able to comment every few minutes are really setting the pace, and it leaves me feeling really left behind. XD

That said, I dropped out of the runnings and speculatings a while ago. Sometimes I pop back in (like right now) but y'all are way too profuse to keep up with on here, let alone on the slenderblogs themselves.

Does anyone have a link to a brand, brand new one, or more?

Not including two shite ones that are on this very forum.

I'd love to watch a Slenertale from the outset. Very Happy

Edit: Even PM me if its your story butcha don't want to post about it.

*Twitch*
Dammit, my friends just started their side of our project, but I swore not to break character and post any links to it on the forums....

For new blogs which I am not related to in any way, shape, or form, hows about http://ilovethesilence.blogspot.com/ or http://universeinsidemyhead.blogspot.com/?

Edit: Oho, just noticed your edit. Forget my little twitching fit at the start of the post, then.

Interestingly (I think it was actually you who pointed this out to me, but I see it now) Robert from White Elephants - who IIRC started the whole Core Theory thing - seemed to have used the chaos to try and retcon away the Core Theory itself.

Update: that retcon looks pretty complete now.

Once I get the time, I plan on trying to see if I can find it in the Google archives, so that we have something for people who are curious as to what all the fuss was about.
And also because I just don't like seeing something I thought was actually pretty well written being deleted like that, even if it did cause things on other blogs to spiral out of control.... Sad
